because his first interviews it seemed he was happy than as the show went on I think he saw other things. That changed his mind. ANd the last couple of shows with Sadies PI may have changed his mind.

What is Sadie's PI? Also, I did not see the Travis season. What's the (brief) recap? I get from the general discussion that he is some kind of M.D., met a woman from his hometown in Paris, and somehow they didn't work out? I have not heard anything new on Lorenzo. I would like to see something "official." It's a bit interesting that the family is pulling traffic onto their site for gossip during prime holiday shopping season, huh?

Here's a summary:

Fleiss recruits a good-looking but mostly disinterested young MD, still finishing his residency at Vanderbilt.
MD holds out for special conditions not granted to previous Bachelors. Fleiss, desperate to create an artificial contest to be "A Doctor's Wife!!!", agrees.
The show begins. MD finds chemistry with a young Canadian Slacker who shares his love of the outdoors. Things look promising.
Four favorites emerge: Canadian Slacker, Beautiful Actress Wannabe, Deep Pretentious Emo Girl, and Hometown Pageant Queen.
None are MD's ideal, thus MD gives up on the show before the Final Four. He works out a deal with Hometown to give her the Final Rose in return for not having to really kiss her.
Canadian Slacker gets drunk on a date and it turns out she still lives at home with her mother. No Rose.
Beautiful Actress Wannabe appears to be in it for the potential career boost. Her own mother rats her out to the MD. No Rose.
Deep Pretentious Emo Girl firmly believes she is going to win. Has an epic meltdown when she doesn't. No Rose.
Hometown Pageant Queen accepts the prearranged Final Rose.
Nobody buys the ending. The two make no public appearances. Fleiss is mad, but apparently can't do anything because MD was smart enough to avoid contract language forcing him to.

It could have been the best season of all. The Bachelorettes were actually far superior to Lorenzo's group, but Travis wasn't in it for real.

You did a great job of summing up that train wreck of a season Randall. I felt that the actress wannabe was the one that Travis really wanted and when he found out that she was probably using him he checked out. T. seemed so totally unprepared for "the SHOW", PLo seemed much more savvy about the SHOW's demands.

I would have thought the same, but his friends said on the Internet that he actually gave up on it much earlier - around the time Sarah B got drunk on their date and couldn't remember what had happened. Of course, that could just be spin for public consumption.

He could have been just embarrassed because he was so obviously "smitten" by Susan. That type of guy sometimes has a problem with looking like a loser. I wonder what his sister has done to make amends for PUSHING him into doing the Bachelor in the first place?

If she did not let the pressure get to her and got drunk she would have won I do believe, but from her interview at the time I think she said that he was not opening enough, so who to tell maybe she would not have drank so much and enjoy the time with him.
