They show him asking Jen father for her hand in marriage. Never show the Sadie end but did mention that too. Nothing new, he will be back tomorrow on the show with the winner.

Just watched Regis. I was struck by how physically different he looked. He seems tired not stressed exactly but somehow vulnerable. Strikingly different to me than on the show. Cant quite put my finger on it. Maybe a bit overwhelmed or distracted (yes all you romantics are thinking perhaps in a spellbound, bewitched or transported sort of way. )He is so much less controlled than Travis Stork at the end. Polite and articulate but so much more relaxed. But then Travis had reason not to be relaxed.

Well, they finished taping on September 21. (But I assume they got a few days alone together before going their seperate ways as is usual so it's been 2 months apart). He is happy with his edit. When asked if there are parts of his personality that werent shown he answered "I'm pretty sarcastic..... alot of the funny things I said were edited [out]." He said because those parts didnt propel the love story.

When asked if he regretted letting anyone go too soon he said he cant be sure about the first night, but "my friends kill me for letting April go" and also regretted Rosella (but I didnt know about the car). He has no regrets about his decision as to F1. (Like he'd say so even if he did. Ha. )

Thanks for the report. Are you saying that he WAS or was NOT relaxed in the interview?

Also, very interesting that he made note of his sarcastic side. This answers the question about if he felt insulted by Sadie's comments.

He looked happy and relaxed to me. But did he look happy in relation to who he chose--that would be up to interpretation. I could not decipher what his state of mind was and what it would be due to.
Nothing much touched on the F1. They showed his interaction with Jen's dad over the proposal and I am sure that edited as usual, and then he said he had a similiar interaction with Sadie's dad. Said as if one interaction wasn't akward enough, having to do a second was more so. (paraphrase there)

You're right. He would certainly be happy that it was over, imo. Was there any reference to him being in love, etc?

No one ever asked him if he is in love. He wouldnt answer as to whether or not he proposed. (I personally I beleive he did. That's the "big surprise." And this season seems more focused on that than others have been. In terms of the bachelor himself and his family what with his mom designing a ring etc. )

He seemed relaxed during the interview. He has no problem talking without giving too much away. Gosh they all seem to be so well trained in how to do this. Even on live tv. But if you had told me he had just flown in from Hong Kong 2 hours ago I'd believe you. He seemed tired, or sleepy, or distracted. I cant explain it better... wish I had the words. Maybe when someone else watches they will be able to put their finger on it better.
If he is truly in love and His F1 is in New York and they were together last night that could account for his being distracted and not wanting to leave her to do these interviews. He didnt seem excited in an anticipatory way ( like yay, I get to see her in 6 hours. Do the F1's usually fly in to watch the show 24 hours in advance? ) Alternately, if he has already broken up with his F1 and has to now force himself to lie and pretend to her or just to the public, that could account for his being overwhelmed at the task at hand. I think the first scenario is more likely however. Because he'd have seemed tense if he had to start lying. And I dont think they'd be doing Regis and Kelly together tomorrow if they werent still together. Would they? I cant remember Travis doing any live interviews post FRC with Sarah. No tv at all . Just print interviews. Am I remembering correctly ?
