I think by what Lorenzo is saying about the girls being so similar that Jen is his final choice. I am convinced of this because he likes them nearly equally, so the only real difference is Sadie=no sex & Jen-sex. If you're a 34 year old male not committed to waiting for marriage, what would you choose? I can already hear his speach, "You and I have different expectations for a relationship" That will be his let down. In addition, from the analyzer thread, I think there's no fighting the placement (where the girls stand for the FRC). There just isn't any way to logistically explain how Sadie could win, standing on stage left. I am still voting for Sadie out of loyalty and because I can't win. Now Zinnia, I recommend you vote for Jen and then take me on the trip France!

| What was your take on having the option to propose to one lady at the end of the show? That's really difficult because right before the show ends, I have to say goodbye to one girl and your emotions are really low on that end. Then all of the sudden the other girl comes in and my emotions are sort of lifted again. It's very difficult becausie I know that I'm sending one girl home crying whose parents I just met and another girl who could potentially be my wife. It was just so much emotions going on for the final hour of taping that f I think back, I have no idea what I was thinking. I was really torn. These comments don't sound like they're coming from a guy "in love"...... Kinda sad, for these were both really great girls and it sounds like both will end up with broken hearts. |

Dang it.....the edit button highlighted everything instead of the couple words I wanted to point out......grrrrrrr Thought these were odd..... "sort of lifted up again"......sort of? And I'm supposed to believe he is in love? "If I think back, I have no idea what I was thinking (in the final HOUR I might add). I was really torn"........How comforting for the F1! ![]()

| I don't think he's saying he was torn because he wanted to choose both. I think he was torn emotionally between letting one girl down and knowing that it was breaking her heart and then the flip side of it is telling the girl you've chosen that you love her. Think back to Agnese's departure, I don't think that letting go of Sadie will be any easier on him, because he knows he's hurting her and feels like he's letting her family down too. Seeing the woman he chooses after that would be a boost to his spirits, but he may still worry about how the one he didn't choose is taking it.

| I know some of this has already been posted, here is a complete transcript of the teleconference with Lorenzo transcribed by Jennie How hard was it for you to select the final two women from the 27? Was it difficult for you to eliminate the 25? It wasn’t really that difficult to eliminate the 25. The first night was difficult because I really didn’t know these girls. Towards the middle and the end of the actual filming process I really knew I liked two more than the others. When it came down to the final two I had a feeling it would be them during the majority of the show and the taping, but I am always one to not judge too quickly so I was there with an open mind. It turned out my initial thought was correct and those were the two finalists and it was very difficult to make a choice from there. What do you like the best about Jen and Sadie? They are very, very similar. They both have a good heart, are fun, they have a lot of the same hobbies I have, they enjoy life, they are just great girls. Their parents are actually similar as well. I felt like they were sisters in a weird way. Sadie is a little more outgoing than Jen. Jen is a very strong person. She is a schoolteacher for 13 year olds and she is so young. The fact that Jen can handle a classroom says a lot about her. Sadie is in a different profession. She is in marketing and has been very successful in her field thus far. They are both really strong people. I find a real good character in both of them and I really like their qualities. What was your take on having the option to propose to one lady at the end of the show? It is sort of difficult because right before the show ends I have to say goodbye to one girl. Your emotions are really low on that end, the other girl comes in and my emotions are sort of lifted again but it is very difficult because I know I am sending one girl home crying whose parents I just met and there is another girl who could potentially be my wife. There were so many emotions going on for the final hour of taping if I think back I have no idea what I was thinking, I was just really torn. How do you think the show has portrayed you thus far? I think they have done a far job portraying me. I get bashed all of the time because I think the show is very honest, the fact that I am not fluent in Italian because I left when I was two, the fact that I live in New York now and I don’t live in Italy that was all said in the show. We weren’t trying to hide it but the media has had fun with it. Given the fact that I am not fluent in Italian and I let Agnese go because she couldn’t speak English. All in all the show portrayed me exactly who I am. Is there a bachelorette who was not fairly represented by the show? They brought Erica back as the diva of the show. Is that a fair portrayal of Erica’s personality? Erica’s personality was right on. That is who she is. People ask me if she was acting or just doing it for the camera and I would say no. I know Erica pretty well and that is just who she is. I think that maybe Kim the one who passed out at the beach got negatively portrayed. It was an unfortunate incident. Kim doesn’t drink a lot and it was bad timing for her to drink too much. Unfortunately it was caught on tape but it is not like she has a drinking problem, she just doesn’t drink. Kim was portrayed in a negative light but all of the events you saw did happen. Do you think some of the girls didn’t understand the duty aspect of you being a prince, that it just isn’t all about castles, glass slippers, and the fairytale? The last two girls understand what it is like. The only duty I have is to be a genuine human being. The two girls that are left are extremely genuine and that is all I am looking for. How has this experience met your expectations and was there any surprising element? The surprising element for me was what I watched on the show. I didn’t know all of the backstabbing was going on. I didn’t know the girls were fighting, to me that was a surprise since I didn’t hang out at the girl’s house. When I was out on dates a lot of this stuff was happening. On that front I was surprised at how they were interacting with each other. It did meet my expectations and the only negative thing was that a lot of people’s emotions get involved and it was more difficult than I thought to say goodbye to some of these girls, because of how much they had invested in me emotionally. Were you aware of Lisa’s timeline before the hometown date? I had no idea Lisa had a timeline until the hometown date. I was surprised because I had such a great time with her. She seemed so laid back and I thought she was there for me, then I see her pull out the wedding dress and the wedding magazines, and she is telling me she has a timeline. There were all these things that I learned about during our hometown and overnight dates that I had no idea Lisa had planned. That is why I got a little shocked and I felt like I didn’t know who she was after she told me this. I don’t know why she didn’t tell me earlier. What has been the best part of this experience for you? The best part was meeting all of these women. They all have unique fun qualities. We had a great time together. I enjoyed traveling all over the place with each of these girls. It was an experience of a lifetime. I think I made genuinely the right decisions and especially with the two finalists. If I could go back and do it again I could say 99.9% I would have the same two girls as the two finalists. What TV show are you addicted to? I actually like Grey’s Anatomy and Entourage and that is basically where it ends, although I am starting to watch Ugly Betty a bit. I really don’t watch TV that much.
