Jami's conference call/interview So let me get this straight. Jami had zippo attraction to PLo, but was really bothered that he didn't pick her to stay? Makes sense to me, NOT.![]()

'The Bachelor': What's the prize again? Is anybody noticing that none of this season's fame-grubbing skanks bachelorettes seem particularly infatuated with Prince Lorenzo Borghese? Maybe they've all realized he's nothing more than a Jersey boy who makes canine cosmetics for a living. Maybe they found out he's 1,729th in line for the throne. Maybe they're all just too drunk to care. Or maybe the real competition is about getting as much airtime as possible, or at least, outwitting, outlasting, and outplaying the other chicks. Of particular amusement to me was the way ABC kept teasing before every commercial how Sadie was about to reveal her secret. (OMG SHE'S A VIRGIN!!! OMG!!!) Um, whatever. Isn't there a virgin or a divorced chick or a single mom who has to "share her most intimate skeleton in the closet" on every season of The Bachelor? Is this really a big deal in 2006? Wouldn't it be more interesting if one of the women had to reveal she'd done hard time? Or that she was smoking crack during one of the group dates? Then again, I generally suspect that all these ladies are high on something the way they scream with orgasmic delight every time they open a date box or see a helicopter in the sky. Anyway, I know I can't be the only one who got a hearty chuckle from Sadie's comment that, "I thought that was the best time to bring up the fact that I'm saving myself for marriage and I didn't want anybody else to do it for me." Also, you know girlfriend is never going all the way -- on The Bachelor (the series, not Lorenzo) (get your heads out of the gutter!) -- what with the way Lorenzo said Sadie's chastity made him "admire her." My money's on Jeanette and Jen in the final two. Think about it: Agnese's English is middling at best; Sadie's not really about the final-three "fantasy suite"; Desiree's a little too much about said fantasy suite; and Lisa's starting to sweat psycho-chick right through her sensible yellow T-shirt. But before we debate which of the women will "live out every woman's secret Cinderella fairytale," let's bid adieu to this week's ejectees: Goodbye Gina (pictured)! The only time your permascowl moved was when your lower lip began to tremble toward the end of your final rose ceremony. I will miss the pure delight I felt every time I caught a glimpse of you in the background, looking fully prepared to choke out anyone who came within three feet of you. It was a fascinating strategy while it lasted! Goodbye Jami! I have to admit that I won't really miss you, mostly because I kept getting you mixed up with Jennifer. Although, really, you're less like her twin, and more like the larger nesting doll in which the smaller Jennifer might reside. Also, your names both start with "J," which made it extra confusing, even though I always wanted to call you Lori or Jodi. Anyway, you should've known Lorenzo sort of hated you the minute he made you go up on stage and screech your way through an aria. That was just cold. Goodbye Erica! I will miss hearing about your privileged background, and pondering how, with so much money, you appear to have styled your hair using a Flobee, some Elmer's Glue, and a tire iron. (Or maybe you just used the latter on your face.) I will admit I was amused this week when you noted, "He can find a girl like Jen anywhere. A girl like Sadie that's a virgin? Okay, maybe that's a little bit rare," but I don't think you were actually trying to be funny. Ditto for your insight that you communicated best with Agnese by speaking verrrry sloooowly and with a bad Italian accent. Also, you're a terrible fake cryer. That's all. http://popwatch.ew.com/popwatch/2006...chelor_wh.html

Here are the details of Erica Rose's teleconference call, transcribed by Jennie. Since you are the only one who has traveled in 'privileged circles' what is going to be the biggest adjustment to the woman who is chosen? Sadie would fit into those circles; she always looks beautiful, is elegantly dressed and put together, and has perfect manners. Agnese, on the other hand barely speaks English and in my mind she needs a lot of grooming both physically and with manners. It would depend on which girl he would choose. They need to be able to do a lot of charity work, instead of just cooking, cleaning and making their own beds. They need to be able to give back and give to other people and not just live their own lives like they have been doing. I could see Sadie and Jen doing charity work. They might not know how to do charity work now but they could learn. Have you ever dated someone who was not from the same background as you? I have, and they expect me and my family to pay for everything. I was just tired of that. I have much more to offer than my money, I am smart, pretty, and fun, and I was hoping Lorenzo and I could get past that and just get to know each other. It didn’t work out so I am hoping I can find someone from a similar background but there are not that many guys out there in that situation. The problem is those guys who are from similar backgrounds just want to be someone’s prince charming. Will you be on another episode besides the next one? I will be on “The Women Tell All” which should be interesting and funny since we haven’t seen or spoken to each other in a really long time. There definitely will be some drama. I can see some drama happening with Jami and me. Do you see yourself doing more TV or films? I was doing entertainment reporting with channel 55 on a show called ‘Wild about Houston’ before I went on the Bachelor. It wasn’t a full time job but I was doing a little segment every week where I talked about movies and I really enjoyed that. I would like to continue to do entertainment reporting like I was. Do you have an agent? No, I don’t Are you happy about the way your departure on the show was edited? The other girls left a little more gracefully than me. They accepted the situation and cried to themselves. I didn’t like Lorenzo’s reasoning for letting me go, it made no sense to me. He told me that I seemed like a different person that night, but I think people that were watching thought she seems like the same person we have been watching the whole time. He wanted to think of any random excuse he could, and not the first thing that came from his mind to let me go. Going in to the date I thought if he really gets to know me and doesn’t like me that’s OK. But I feel he didn’t get to know me and I was really upset. I am happy I reprimanded him and let him know what I was thinking and that took him back a bit. I was glad I could throw him off kilter a little bit. Did you feel like you had a connection with him? Yes, we had a good conversation when we rode around on the Vespa on our first date. We were together an hour or two. We were both English majors in college, he owns a line of pet cosmetics and I have a dog, and we both do charity work. I felt a physical attraction too, he is a very handsome man, I think all of the girls felt a connection with him, which was really hard; he did make every girl feel special and happy. After watching the show it looks like we really didn’t have a much of a connection but at the time I thought we did. What did you think about the opportunity to return to the show? I loved it and was very happy. I always felt the girls weren’t being honest with each other and I was always honest with all of them. Some of them would talk bad about the other girls behind their backs and be all nice and sweet to them in person. I tried to get them to admit that they were being fake but they wouldn’t admit that to each other. When I came back I got them to admit to each other their true opinions. I got to judge based on who was the most honest and open and who should get the one on one dates. I think it was really significant whom I picked for the dates. I have a feeling that one of the girls I picked is the girl he ends up with in the end so I feel good that I was able to help that process move along. What do you think of other socialites out there? I am always asked about Paris Hilton and I really don’t think we have anything in common except that we are both blonde and socialites. Paris is an amazing girl and has done so much with her life in just a few years it is insane. I admire her but I am not trying to emulate her. I am very different. I am my own person. I am just being myself and I don’t want to appear like I am trying to be someone else. What surprised you the most about the edited version of the show? I didn’t like how it seemed like I was crying all of the time. There were a lot of times we were just all hanging out by the pool. Maybe those times were boring or insignificant and that’s why they didn’t air. It seemed like I never had a conversation with any of the other girls and that I was always crying in a corner or whining about something. I am not a whiny girl who is always crying. I am usually a happy person. What surprised you the most about Lorenzo? When he said he didn’t care about any other qualities in a girl other than they are kind hearted and fun. I was really disappointed because I thought every girl that was there could have qualified as kind hearted and fun. I was surprised he didn’t have a larger list of requirements. I was surprised he didn’t care about education or upbringing, and it was a huge slap in the face. It was then I realized I didn’t have an advantage over the other girls. Some how I thought he really didn’t think I was a kind hearted person which I am, and maybe he didn’t think I was that much fun, who knows. I was very disappointed and surprised by his comments. After hearing them he was not what I had expected him to be. How does he compare with some other well-known bachelors like Brandon Davis? I like Brandon Davis better than Lorenzo because he owns up to who he is. He would have more requirements for a girl than just being fun and kind hearted. Most people are kind hearted and fun. I think Brandon Davis would be more discriminate than that. How is someone suppose to find a soul mate or wife when being kind hearted and fun are the only two qualities you are looking for? You will have millions and millions of kind hearted and fun girls to choose from. How soon after you left the show were you asked to come back? Were you nervous about it? On the limo ride after I didn’t get the rose I was upset and doing my little crying thing. The producer who was with me said we have to go back to Lorenzo’s. I asked if I was supposed to yell at him again? I didn’t know what was going on. I told them I didn’t feel like yelling at him again that I had already got my point across. When we got back they told me about the plan to return in a few days to surprise the girls and they gave me a little information about it. I was excited because the girls could see that I was OK. I didn’t want them to think I had been crying for days. I wanted to show them that I was doing great. I liked having a little bit of power over them in deciding who got the individual dates. I picked the girls for the dates that I thought were the most honest. That was important to me because a lot of the girls were not honest and would be nice to the girls to their face but say other things behind their backs and I didn’t like that. Not only did I choose on honesty, but I chose who I thought would be compatible with Lorenzo and who I potentially thought could become a princess. In that group of girls it was like finding a diamond in the rough. Did you make any friends? I got along very well with Lisa, she comes from a similar background but she was smart enough to know Lorenzo was looking for more of a down to earth girl. She brought that side of her personality out very well. I liked Sadie she is the cutest little thing in the world, she is so adorable and I would be very happy if Lorenzo ended up with her because how can you do better than a virgin? I liked Desiree because she was so much fun to be around, I also liked Jeanette. There were only two girls I didn’t get along with very well. Agnese, because she thought she was superior because she was Italian and the most beautiful girl in the house and was condescending in that way. I didn’t like Jami because she thought I was a spoiled brat. I didn’t think she was right for Lorenzo. I thought she would be perfect for an NFL football player. What was your family’s reaction to seeing you on the show? It was my Dads idea for me to be on the show. I had been complaining forever about my dating life. I don’t like Texas guys. My Dad was tired of supporting my boyfriends. My dad said here is a guy who doesn’t need my support. He thought maybe it could work out. He knew I was a confident, outgoing person and that I would be comfortable in the situation. My dad is always in the media being a plastic surgeon so he is use to scrutiny. He said just ignore the negative publicity. I don’t really care about what other people say about me. My mom was a little more sensitive because people started attacking her for not teaching her daughter how to make a bed Why do you think the prince chose Agnese over you? Because she was Italian and he thought it would be good of him to pick an Italian because of his ancestry. All they talked about was she couldn’t speak English and that her English was getting better. She also had kissed him prior to the date. I thought he would feel weird about having kissed a girl and then having to send her home. She is that Cinderella type of story. She is a nanny; she comes from a regular family in Italy. He has that Prince Charming complex that guys have. She could fulfill his little fantasy that way. Maybe he just wanted to brush up on his Italian who knows? He would feel worse sending her home than me because he could never feel sorry for a girl like me. Was there anything that occurred on the show that we didn’t see that you want to share with us? The moderator breaks in and says she can’t go into that. Sorry. Erica says if you go to tmz.com you can see some fun clips. What other TV shows do you like? Girls Next Door, The Simple Life, Flavor of Love Have you had any plastic surgery? I had a nose job when I was younger. My breasts are natural. I will get my breasts lifted and a tummy tuck after I have kids. How has this experience changed your life? Random people will come up to me. When I was at a mall in Houston a bunch of thirteen-year-old girls who were wearing tiaras were happy and excited to see me. Some people come up to me and say rude things when I am out with my friends. I find the whole situation very amusing because they are people I don’t know and how can they form such strong opinions of me, it is almost like hatred. I am moving to Los Angeles and I am happy about it because there are more important people to be concerned about here. I will be the least of every ones concerns. How do you respond to people who say negative things about you to your face? I say I am sorry you feel that way; I think you are wrong but that is your opinion. I am not going to be mean to them. I don’t know anything about them. Were you a fan of the show before you were on it? Yes, I was a fan of the show, some seasons more than others. My favorite two seasons were Andrew Firestone because he was cool and Bachelor Bob. I liked the fact Bob was so sleazy and hooked up with every girl and I thought that was really funny. I also like the girls on the Bachelor Bob season they were interesting characters. I didn’t watch Travis because I thought he was kind of boring and the girls were really boring whom he picked at the end. I think it is funny because every bachelor always likes the teacher, and I am wondering if this season it might be like that again. My roommates and I watched the Bachelor in college together. This season is better than it has been in a really long time for a lot of reasons, especially since there is an actual prince and not just a prince charming. I definitely think I made the show a lot more interesting because I was not afraid to be myself. Erica also said the reason she is so against tattoos is because of the stories her dad has told her about people who wanted them removed. Their skin is never quite the same.

And she's a nanny. I wondered what Agnese did for a living.

I am going to miss our crazy socialite. I think in her own mind, she really is being herself and her actions are sincere (for her). What a trip. Some good info about the show and girls was revealed, at least insight-wise.creampuff- Agnese kissed Lorenzo the second week before the Rose Ceremony in their 1/1 time. Remember how Lor said he was surprised by her kiss (and IMO looked pretty awkward.)

I agree. When Agnese first kissed Lor, it did seem awkward. He seems like a much more reserved bachelor than the others we are used to, I think.
