From that article: "People say, 'Why would you do this show?'" Lorenzo admits. "[Why] go to Italy to fall in love?' I always say, 'Where do you fall in love? It is at a bar? Is it in Central Park if you're walking on the sidewalk? Is it in a carriage?'" He mentions a carriage and he rode in a carriage with Jennifer in Rome, is he perchance giving a little clue as to where he fell in love? | |

| Here is the TV guide show description for 10/31 .. hometown dates.. I'm wondering if the beach interlude would be Jenn in Florida or Sadie in California?? The gun dad.. (shades of Jesse's season.. Tara's dad) wonder who?? Jenn? I'm thinking the wedding dress thing could be either dateline Lisa or Sadie? Episode Detail: The Bachelor: Rome - The Bachelor: Rome Lorenzo visits the hometowns of the four remaining bachelorettes. One woman's father terrorizes him with his gun collection, and a friend of another's scares him with a wedding dress while her mother makes him do Pilates on her living-room floor. But at least there's a pleasant beach interlude. At the rose ceremony the field is reduced to three, all of whom will go on overnight dates with Lorenzo. tvguide

| Here's an article about Jami and Erica Oct. 16, 2006, 11:09PM Local Bachelor contestants out ![]() Galveston event planner Jami Matzke went on a one-on-one date with Prince Lorenzo Borghese on Monday's episode. Despite their dance during a private opera performance, Borghese rejected Matzke and sent her home. Copyright 2006 Houston Chronicle Houston socialite Erica Rose and Galveston event planner Jami Matzke were eliminated from the contest to win a prince's heart on Monday's episode of The Bachelor: Rome. But Rose's run on the ABC series is not over. Both Rose and Matske left the ABC show in tears after being rejected by cosmetics heir Lorenzo Borghese. A third woman also got the snub. "It's so unfair," cried Rose, who said her exit was due to her beauty and background. However, a preview of next week's episode showed that Rose will be back to "pit the (remaining six) women against each other." link

Gun Dad: Sadie? Maybe she's a virgin because dad runs all the guys off! Beach: Jennifer? Less traumatic, fits with the good edit. No mention of Agnese? We know she's in Venice.

She makes them participate in a "truth exercise," which leaves some of the women in tears. Lorenzo then flies one lucky bachelorette to the Roman baths for a day of pampering and an evening of romance, on "The Bachelor: Rome," MONDAY, OCTOBER 23 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on ABC. Lorenzo, who is a licensed private airplane pilot, flies one of the ladies in a private plane to the Roman baths for a one-on-one date to Tivoli. Following the flight, the two get intimate in the ancient Roman baths. A group date to the historic Roman aqueducts has the remaining women competing for Lorenzo's affections, as they race each other, riding authentic Roman chariots for a special wish from the Bachelor. Lorenzo also shares a private dinner with another bachelorette in front of the Vatican, which also happens to have the Borghese name on its fagade. Then they take a romantic carriage ride to the famous Trevi Fountain. Meanwhile, Desiree and Lisa transform a humdrum evening at home when they get a little wild and decide to go streaking and skinny dipping on the villa property. | How do we know that the girls actually tell the truth with their answers? Does Erica get the questions from the show producers who have all the girls' backgrounds/dirt? And is Lorenzo there to hear/see all the drama? Nasty set up IMO.

| I'm thinking in the previews, that the girls are talking about Lisa, if Miss Socialite's premise is to get them to talk about the other girls. It's made to sound like they're talking about Erica, but if it's her game, then my first premise stands!

| I'm with you MissKitty, It sounds like a very nasty set up indeed. I hope it's only cruel to those who deserve it, then it could be fun. It sounds more likely to be disgusting than fun though. ![]() |
