| This is interesting and kind of funny to me that even Lor's extended family is out to gain their 15 minutes of fame and more importantly some valuable FREE advertizing to sell their vino!! ![]() News Released: October 14, 2006 THE PRINCESS BLOGS - American Princess Borghese shares thoughts on love, romance and the TV Bachlorettes trying to win her cousin’s heart, the Bachelor Prince Lorenzo Borghese (PRLEAP.COM) Cutchogue, NY – Although many little girls dream about it, not many women can become a princess. That’s why the competition is fierce as on ABC TV’s reality show, “The Bachelor: Rome.” One woman knows exactly what it’s like to be a princess, because she’s married to the TV Bachelor’s cousin who’s also a prince. And she is dishing it out on The Princess Blogs at her vineyard’s website www.BorgheseVineyard.com “Our cousin, Prince Lorenzo Borghese, is on a quest to find his princess and live happily ever after,” says Princess Ann Marie Borghese. “And I wanted to do something to share in the excitement – as well as give people an idea what it’s like to be a real Borghese Princess. That’s why I started The Princess Blogs.” The blog will comment on the escapades of the Princess’ cousin, Prince Lorenzo Borghese, a 34-year-old cosmetics entrepreneur, on “The Bachelor: Rome,” the popular romance reality series. Princess Borghese will also judge the bachelorettes and their chances of becoming a princess. Married for 22 years, Prince Marco and Princess Ann Marie Borghese own Castello di Borghese, the oldest vineyard on Long Island in New York State. Winners of numerous international awards, Castello di Borghese Vineyard and Winery has earned widespread respect. Viewers are also incited to comment on the blog, as well as visit the Princess at the Vineyard to toast to love and romance. For more information, including romantic getaways at the Castello di Borghese, call 800-734-5158 or visit online at www.BorgheseWines.com About the Castello di Borghese Winery & Vineyard With noble roots dating back to Ninth Century Italy, Prince Marco and Princess Ann Marie Borghese offer a taste of royalty with the ever-expanding selection of Castello di Borghese wines. It is truly the birthplace of the Long Island wine industry and it shows in the production of elegant, sophisticated and award-winning wines. link

| I take it the Borghese vineyard and the Firestone vineyards don't constitute a conflict of interest for ABC? ![]()

| Are there any people of less exalted rank in the Borghese family, like maybe just a count or a simple *gasp* baron, or are they all princes and princesses? ![]() It seems that even the extended family is now eager to sponge off of Larry's newfound notoriety to promote their own interests. When can we expect word from Larry's third cousins twice removed on his mother's side? I'm breathlessly awaiting the moment. ![]()

| I couldn't get the Zip Code search to work, either. If you live in the LA broadcast area, it is on weeknights CBS channel 2 at 7:30 P.M.

| Canuck gal says 'Bachelor' overproduced By STEVE TILLEY - Toronto Sun Sarah Schnare is too good for reality TV. Not just because she grew up in small-town B.C. -- oh, Canada! -- and not just because she was punted off The Bachelor: Rome despite being one of the most stunning women on the show. It's because Schnare sees the man pulling the levers behind the curtain, and she's not afraid to point at him and laugh. "A lot of it is so produced, it's like nails on a chalkboard watching it back," the 30-year-old beauty said yesterday on the phone from her Los Angeles home. "You're at the mercy of the producers. It's horrendous!" A producer for CNN's Larry King Live who was born and raised in Nelson, B.C., Schnare was eliminated on last Monday's episode of The Bachelor: Rome when businessman and prince Lorenzo Borghese didn't pick her to be one of the final nine beauties vying for his love. And she is so OK with that. "I didn't go in with expectations, I didn't even have any time," said Schnare, who was approached by a casting director at a bar and asked if she'd be interested in trying out for the show. Schnare said she initially laughed off the suggestion, until she found out the series was being shot in Rome. "I didn't for one second, to be honest with you, think, 'OK, I'm going to go marry a prince.' That is so lame." The still-single Schnare says she falls in love "every day" when she's home visiting Canada, but that it's tough to find meaningful relationships in L.A, never mind while competing with 26 other women over a frenzied, six-week TV shoot in Rome. "I'm a little cynical, a little jaded," she said with a laugh. "(Love) is a lot of work, and it takes longer than six weeks." http://jam.canoe.ca/Television/TV_Sh...4/2024552.html |

| Travis in tvguide interview Dreamer has posted the link to an interesting t.v. interview that PLo gave. When they were asking him how he chose the original 12 he joked, then quickly said "well there's a book". It sure sounded to me like he was saying that he has a book with some information. I believe that he said that he kept notes as well. He sure is fun to watch in interviews, he just seems like a nice guy. Oh, he also said that there were 8 girls that he knew that he wanted to keep, hmmm maybe the others were producer picks? ![]() |
