| Teleconference with Kim Jackson Did you feel embarrassed during the taping, and while watching the episode from home, about your drunken/sleepy behavior? I don’t remember what happened at the beach, I was awoken from a dead sleep and it was a blur. It was difficult to watch, but I was told before hand it would be shown on the episode. I got a great laugh out of it and so did my friends and family. Anyone that knows me knows that that is a typical response when I am woken up and it wasn’t surprising. How much did you drink? We all drank the same amount. They just kept bringing down shots (to the beach) I wasn’t drinking excessively. The day lasted about six hours. And it was the last half hour to an hour of the day that the alcohol caught up with me. I did refuse a few shots because I don’t like hard alcohol and I know it doesn’t agree with me. After a few shots I needed to lie down and take a nap. I thought we were done filming for the day so when I woke up to the cameras I was even more surprised. What kind of shots were they? They don’t have ice in Italy so it was some kind of warm grapefruit drink with vodka in it. All of the shots tasted the same. If you had a dating tip what would it be? Be yourself and don’t drink too much on a date. The cameras didn’t affect me. I was able to be myself and have fun with the girls. I wanted Lorenzo to see that I was being myself and not acting fake or reserved. I was whom I usually am when I am out with my girlfriends, making them laugh and having a good time. What were Lorenzo’s best qualities and what qualities were you not attracted to? He came off very sincere. I thought that any guy who wanted to be the bachelor would be a little cocky or full of himself and he definitely wasn’t. He was a little reserved and taken back by the situation he was in. He was very humble. I never felt like I really got to know him. The actual time the girls get to spend with him is very minimal. During the taping he is getting pulled aside for interviews. I was disappointed I didn’t get to get a really good read on him. I just got to stand back and watch him interact with the other girls and I had a few conversations with him. I can’t fault him for this but I was hoping he would have let his guard down a little and he seemed a little on edge and didn’t really loosen up much. I could tell he was sarcastic and fun and had a good personality but we didn’t get to see that much. As time went on and he got use to the cameras and the girls he probably loosened up but I didn’t get to see that side of him. Do you think he had genuine chemistry with anyone? I thought he didn’t have good chemistry with me when I had my one on one moments with him. I thought he had great chemistry with Desiree but when I watched him on the beach date he kind of had the same mannerisms he had with me, he kind of looked away and seems a little shy. I didn’t see him connect with one girl more than the others, but I didn’t see him interact with all of the girls, it was just hear say, like when he had his date with Lisa she said they had a great time, but watching it on TV he didn’t look that into it but I wasn’t there to see what really happened. Do you think Lorenzo sent you home because you passed out? What is frustrating for me is everyone is saying (if you get on the blogs) that they hated that she denied it and tried to pretend that she was taking a catnap. No one told me that it was going to air and I wasn’t sure what had happened. There were 5 or 6 hours of footage and I didn’t know they were going to use the nap and the drunken comments. I tried to play it like they were just waking me up because I was sleeping. Lorenzo was there and knew what was going on, but he wasn’t there when I was joking around with the girls, he didn’t see that side of it either. I tried to say I didn’t get to know him because of it, but he didn’t really respond to that so I don’t if that is the reason I am gone or not. I truthfully don’t know why I got kicked off other than if it was me falling asleep then that is the reason. Having been on the show do you really think people can fall in love on a reality show? It is very easy to get caught up in it once you are there. Everyone who made the show was a quality person with very different personalities. The odds were in his favor. There were 25 great girls. There is bound to be a match for him. Not necessarily someone who will become his wife but there is definitely good dating potential there. I think you can develop a relationship that can turn into love. I was taken back because a few of the girls were already saying they could be in love with him and they thought he might be the one. I was wondering how people could feel that when they were sharing him with so many other girls. Did he live up to the image they presented of him being Italian and a Prince? He was a lot more American than Italian. It isn’t his fault. They chose him and went with the whole prince thing. I don’t think that he walks around everyday and advertises that he is a prince. It is part of his heritage and that was kind of played up for the show. Overall I was a little bummed he didn’t speak Italian but I didn’t speak Italian either so it wasn’t a problem for me. The moderator breaks in to say Lorenzo has been to Italy many times on business and he was born in Milan, Italy and lived there for five years before he came to the United States. Kim says his heritage was from Italy but he never acted like he knew all about it. He never tried to act like someone he wasn’t. He joked about how people call him a prince. They went on to say that he is a real prince because of his ancestor Pope Paul V who could give out titles. The title that was given to his family was prince. Kim liked his modesty about being a prince and that he never played it up. The moderator called him a reluctant prince. Who do you think will get the final rose? I was able to spend a lot of time with the girls because we had so much down time. They are all great girls but personality wise I think Sadie would be a good fit for Lorenzo. She is a very sincere girl and has her head on straight. What do you think of Erica? She was one of my roommates. I knew right away her background was different and the opposite of ours and was a little outrageous. You can’t help but love someone who is so confident with herself. She pretty much says and does anything. She doesn’t care if the cameras are around. She doesn’t care if the girl she is talking about is standing right next to her. She says what she is thinking. In a way I admire someone like that. Sometimes I think she should filter it a little bit. She does make great TV and is a fun girl. She’s not mean spirited, she is just that way, a little over the top. I wouldn’t consider her as one of my closest friends in the house but I had a great time with her. She was entertainment for sure. Do you think that if you would have got to know Lorenzo a little better that it could have worked out? When I first meet guys I like to take the friend approach and I don’t think that it worked in this situation because it moved so fast. We didn’t get time to move past that. I think personality wise we could have been a match. If I had met him on the street or in a more casual setting there could have been a chance that we could have dated and determined if we had some similar interests and could have liked each other. Did he tell you about his dog shampoo business? We knew who he was before we went on the show so all of us did our fair share of research. I did come across that and I think it is great and he has a soft side for sure. He did talk about his passions and hobbies, which included that product line, and that he loves pets and his dogs. He is a good guy, he is well rounded, and seems to be a good businessman, yet compassionate. He has other interests besides his career, he seems family oriented, and into his pets as well. He has a soft side. Do you think any of the girls were there for the crown, the princess thing? Erica was the only girl who literally wanted the crown and thinks she is a princess. None of the other girls came across that way to me. There were girls who already knew they liked him and just wanted to win his heart. Kim thought it should have been a little more two sided and that the girls should interacted with him first to see if they really liked him. There were girls who had a mission and a game plan. The younger girls wanted to get his attention and get the job done (marry him or whatever their plan was). The older girls felt like they didn’t know him and hadn’t had enough interaction with him yet. What is next for you? I am still single. I don’t know if the show ruined my dating life or helped it out. What kind of reaction have you gotten from people? My friends are laughing because they have seen me like that before. Words of advice I got before the show were don’t cry and don’t drink too much and of course I did both. I will never judge anyone on reality TV again because I did a few things I swore I would never do. When you are in the situation it is amazing how things just happen and they are out of your control. Who is your ideal guy? A family guy, career driven, someone who has their own thing going and their own goals, someone who is athletic, down to earth and honest, pretty much everything everyone else is looking for. Have you ever tried any other unconventional dating methods? No, I am usually set up by friends or meet someone through usual circumstances. What is the most crazy thing you have ever done to get a guy? Nothing, one of my weaknesses is I am not outgoing enough when it comes to guys. I figure they will come to me and obviously that isn’t working for me. I think I need to rethink that. How do you feel about so many of the girls in the house being so young (in their early twenties)? It didn’t feel that way. I don’t think we knew each other’s ages. We didn’t discuss it and it didn’t come across that there was such an age difference. Personality wise some of the younger girls were more into it early on than some of the older girls. The younger girls were more giddy and excited and more caught up in the fairytale of it all. The older girls were a little more cynical and wondering what they were doing there. The older girls were more into making friends and hanging out, to them it was like a great vacation where there was a great guy who wanted to take you out on dates. I think we all know who will be interviewed next week! Could it be a psuedo princess? |

| Thanks Jennie, great article. Little Kimmy got amnesia while on that Italian beach? Yeah, right. She forgot all about the beach incident, or so she said, but then went on to relate in quite a lot of detail, the drinks she had, what she did and what led up to the little, er, nap. Sweetie, you got wasted, fell asleep, woke up, swore like a sailor and were on a different planet, Larry got turned off and sent you packing. That's what happened. Sorry to break it to you. ![]()

| That's what I thought too - that they were getting those girls all liquored up in hopes that someone would pass out. And voila! Someone did. I don't believe the drinks caught up with her in the last 30 to 60 minutes because she was drunk in every scene we saw. Surely they aired more than the last hour of the beach fun. The girl took a header into the sand!

| I just saw an ad on TV that said Lorenzo is going to be on the Insider Monday talking about all the liquor, in particular shots the girls drink on the show.. and other stuff. It looks like it might be funny. This is the show that Pat O'Brien hosts. It's syndicated so I guess everyone will have to check their local listing.
