Well I agree with you completely on one point... religion is not a good topic on The Bachelor. I know lots of very religious people that enjoy drinking on the weekends a lot lol. In fact, some of them party pretty hard. I don't see the equation between being religious and enjoying alcohol. I wouldn't have thought any less of him if he had drank or not. I still don't see what attracted someone like Sean, as he is being portrayed anyway, to do a show like this. Fishy...

Sean seems to think that if he talks enough, he can convince viewers that he's better than the other Bachelors and Bachelorettes... but, I can see right through Sean.

Sean said that he wanted someone who is smart, sweet and has a sense of humor. Since Sean dated two Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, including one for a long time, Sean also wants someone who is pretty and thin. Looks seem much more important to Sean than common religious beliefs.

And, what's wrong with Des' brother Nate stating the obvious... that Sean wasn't reciprocating Des' feelings. Have other family menbers from previous shows pretended that there was a connection, because of the camera?

I have not read this thread yet. I will give my opinions now.

My heart goes out to Lesley and Desiree. Des' brother queered the deal; Leslie did not say, I love you. I cost them a rose. I get law of attactiion and that things always work out the way they should. This has NOTHING to do with religion, btw. There is NO governing power to fear. It is all and energy exchange. Those who fear god, carry on. Your dealio. Sean is VERY religious and I do not thnkg he has a match here. A modern woman is not for him. His father is a preacher. Not many women fall into this born again, virgin catagory either. Arie would have been that one who would have made a good show. Organized religion is on its way out and any lead will be a dead zone when this is a front runner.

I have something to add to my original post, here. Des' brother really did not tip the scales; Sean had doubts about her, same with Leslie. It is unfortunate he had to find an excuse as to why he let them go. Des probably had a rough time with her brother after viewing this show and Leslie may be upset that she failed in showing him enough. pffffffffffffft That was just Sean evading telling the truth; he was just not that into them.

And good for Des' brother; he nailed it!

Sean should have told Des and other women that he didn't choose that he had better connections with the other women. That's what leads from previous seasons have said. Sean should have taken the blame, and not pointed fingers (at Des' brother). Also, what's good about organized religion, is how they help society with good schools, hospitals, and help to the less fortunate.
