So we don't get to see the parents talking to Sean...instead we get the brother drama.

Sure, this whole scenario is off the wall, but is he going to be around when Des goes to blow her nose?

Does she have to get Brudda's approval to draw breath around a guy?

So her brother can't wait until they finish their meal, but pulls Sean aside in the middle of dinner.

This whole date is kind of wierd. It reminds me of AshLee's date...there is just something off about the whole thing...it's too much but in a different way. Am I making sense to anyone but myself?

I keep getting the feeling that something major is going to happen because of this extra episode tomorrow night. SOmething just seems weird.

Oh and Des' brother is definitely stoned. I worked with addicts and he's an addict. JMO

Des' brother looks exactly like the drug dealer down the street from me....seriously. Not the faux boyfriend, the brother.

Actually, I take that back. When bro said he just did not see any recepication to Des's feelings, that seemed to leave him at a loss for words. Hmmm...

The whole 'asking for dad's blessing" is ridiculous in this instance. How could any father, in good conscience, say 'yes' when he has known the bachelor for all of a few hours? Does one customarily ask for a father's blessing these days? It seems like an antiquated custom.

Yeah, it's still pretty common around these parts here in the south. Though it's not usually done the first time you meet their parents.
