Probably because Amanda is gone & Tierra is still there. Heaven forbid that they lose their villain early.
Tierra is the villain they featured even before the season started. Apparantly the Primary Villain. Amanda was just a temporary distraction.

Really? I thought all the talk was about Amanda, how she didn't respond when anyone talked to her. I think TPTB decided Tierra would be better and changed their stories.jmho

The pre-season ads all seemed to feature Tierra going off the deep end & the other women commenting that Sean doesn't see what they see.
Amanda wasn't featured as a villain 'till the season started.

By the way, I hope someone introduces her to a bottle of hair conditioner. She's a pretty girl, but that hair.

I think the Amanda non-response and the pseudo-tiff with Desiree was crafted from a very small amount of footage and used only because they wanted to end the Kacie storyline. It seems Amanda likes to play the occasional head-game and she had no connection with Sean, so it was probably an easy decision to burn her footage in this manner.

They seem to like to stock the house with a few models for this purpose - they rarely attract the Bachelor because it's obvious the appearance is more about adding to a portfolio. And they provide a safe outlet for the Bachelor (Courtney) when he hasn't made any real connections or needs someone to play the second-place role when he makes his choice early on.

I must admit that I loved Amanda playing with everyone else's head by pretending that she had done the roller derby stuff before. It reminded me of my dear ole' dad who played nearly every sport available during high school even though he was probably the shortest kid around. He told me how he used to psyche out the other players rather it was when he was playing catcher or waiting for the other team to shoot free throws.

The weird part about Amanda is that when I first saw her picture, I thought she was one of the prettiest of them all but I never could associate her on the screen with her picture.

Same here. Especially when she sat like a bump on a log, in a horrible yellow dress, not talking with anyone. .I didn't know who that was!!
