Well, Jaimie may be naive about love/men but she isn't dumb by any means. She is a registered nurse. I truly feel sorry for her given her sad home life and how she has had to raise her younger siblings by herself. I think she never got to experience the usual teenage things like prom and dates and may have a case of emotional arrested development.
