I have seem most of the interviews they did yesterday. GMA was the first in a long line. They had hopped onto the plane almost as soon as the live AFTR was done, they got stuck in traffic and were running late for the show. That was her first live interview with the press and clearly she was a little nervous. Sean has been doing this for months so he was much more comfortable. As you watched the interviews progress during the day you could see that she got more and more comfortable. They seem to be quite happy and seem to be very secure about what they have and about what happened during the show. I didn't see any issues. As always, time will tell with these couples.

I agree with this. I tend to assume that long engagements are more about one member of the couple being unsure about the future than any sort of extended "getting to know you" time. Probably a bunch of "engagements" come out of that ridiculous ultimatum that some people (mostly women, I imagine) think will get them what they want from a guy who obviously isn't on the same page.

The conflict in this case is that I'm pretty sure Sean & Catherine would not be engaged IRL at this stage, so talk of a long engagement is more about catching up on the time they missed.

Finally, weightlifting of the kind that Sean does is not the kind of exercise that does much for overall body conditioning. Considering all that's been going on in his life the last few months he could be out of shape in terms of attempting serious heavy duty cardio work of the kind that dancing requires.
Hmmmm -- Tired? Absolutely! He's been living a whirlwind.
But out of shape? I don't know about that. The kind of weightlifting Sean does, you know, having 98-lb. women jump into his arms, twirling them around, lifting them over his head, balancing them at an arm's length, etc., has certainly kept him in shape -- as we've all seen over and over again.

No. But he did carry her to the elephant.

We weren't shown it but it did happen. I've seen the picture of it.

And he carried her down the dark street in Canada after inviting the "losing" team (which I believe Catherine was on) to come and join the "winning" team that evening.

Wasn't that Montana? It was part of the group date and then they had their first 1:1 date in Canada the next week.

Funniest quote ever! Finally watching ATFR and Chris says to Sean, "I couldn't get you to cry at all during the show and now you're a bawl bag." Direct quote!!!
