Very strange episode last night. I'm pretty sure Sean is not "allowed" to say he loves anyone until the final rose, right?
I don't blame Sean at all for dumping Des due to her brother, especially if he had doubts about Des herself. He has always said he wants kids and who would want their kids to have such a nasty, creepy and dangerous uncle? She did seem to be a frontrunner. Pretty ironic when you look back at how Des dominated the sunrise-to-sunset date while Linsey and Catherine were stuffed in the backseat! But honestly, would you choose to be related to that guy?
I don't see anything special with Lindsey although she seems nice enough. The baby-talk voice is irritating and she just seems too young. I may be way off-base but it seems like she is working as a substitute teacher while waiting for a man to come along to support her so she can quit. I find it odd that there has never been any mention of her wanting to be an actual teacher or of any other aspirations.
I appreciate that Catherine has a career in graphic arts. She is smart, funny, fun & attractive. I would be concerned about a possible darker side considering what her sisters said about her ups and downs as well as family history considering her father's suicide attempt. Sean has only seen the ups so far.
As far as Ashley goes, I'm just shaking my head. She has been my favorite all along, but after last night I'm just really bummed that she can't seem to loosen up and just have a good time. The whole date was about Ashley and her therapy issues. There didn't seem to be much interest in getting to know Sean or getting him to talk and there was nothing remotely fun about the date.
Looking forward to tonight!
