SAVE THE WHALES..THE OCEANS DIE..WE DIE!!!
As for Emily's season, I am not looking forward to her as the lead because I don't need more of her tragic story, nor about the lack of privacy she has already unleashed on herself and her daughter, but I am looking forward to the hot men. I don't expect a better season than this one because with each progressive season of late, they are getting worse and worse and we all know the lead always gets trashed in their season ... and she was built up as this saintly, tragic, mother and she has nowhere to go but down.
Why watch? We're addicted!!! We need an intervention!!!

He is the first bachelor I dislike and that happened only after last night's episode.
I was not thrilled to hear he would be the bachelor but thought okay he is a nice guy. Then last week the way he treated the girl he sent away during the group date. Totally unnecessary to be so rude. I do not mind him sending girls away but the manner in which he did it really was a big no no. Okay I thought to myself "we all can make mistakes maybe I did not see stuff" but then this episode. The way he treats Emily! OMG! So rude. He really cuts her off even threatens her. I wish she would have left. His true colours are showing.
By the way I did notice the way he behaved with is her name Jennifer? the red head? During the last talk they had she was opening up but I did notice he looked and sounded boring but then he did initiate a few kisses.
Courtney I do not think she will be one of the 2 last girls because she gets such a bad edit. The music changes every time she talks. Depressing, kind of danger is coming music.
I would have cut her off as well. What guy wants to sit with you, talk with you! while you ramble on about another women. I dislike quite a few bachelors Jake being the very worst. ( Blob was clumsy and awkward) and slobbered like a newfoundland dog .Have you only decided on the editing of this show about Ben? you should google airport outtakes, he is a funny guy I am watching all of this season because of him
love ya Ben LOL!
The thing is, Vienna got a bad edit, too, and look what happened there. Vienna and the frolic in the mud (she might as well have been naked for all that was visible through her bikini), Ben and the skinny dipping. Oh, and we mustn't forget Ed and his edit, another F1.
I hate to be so cynical, but I'm starting to think Ben was never looking for love. I think he thought it would be great fun to have a bunch of hot women throwing themselves at him, and he figured that if one of them stuck around for awhile, that would be a nice bonus.
I think Courtney has his hormones racing and his panic when he thinks she's losing interest has to do with his hopes for the fantasy suite.
Which is how, I think, he can go skinny dipping with her in public without losing respect for her. He's not sizing her up as wife material. And don't most guys kind of figure if you'll do it with them, you'll do it with anyone?
Did we all see Nicki in a tub of chocolate with Ben ? right at the end? that was fun, she asked him to lick it off .He didnt he plopped whipped cream on her head, oh what fun to be young again/
Ben is young, he's single and he's having fun. Did he come on this show for marriage? No way. He came on for the experience. I'm sure he is enjoying every minute of it. I personally don't see issues with what he is doing. We all know how this show works - and everybody is a willing participant. This sort of reminds me of Jillian's season. Many thought she was so sweet and adorable after Jason's season. Then in her own season, many turned on her. Turned out she loved to party and drink. In that way, Ed was perfect for her as to who was left. Same with Ben. We saw one Ben on Ashley's season and we are seeing a different Ben now. I don't think they are different people, but based on the position they are in in the show (contestant vs. lead) and who they are pursuing. I actually think this Ben is closer to who he really is. Nothing wrong with it - and this is his journey, not ours - for whatever motivation he wants.
As for the "threatening" Emily, I completely disagree. I think he was giving her a chance - and trying to convey a message to her before it is too late. We see it every season. There is at least one person who gets so caught up in the other people there that they forget why they are really there, which is to get to know the lead. If Courtney said, point blank to the other women "I don't give a s**t about Ben and I'm only here to win" - then I would say you have something to tell him. Aside from that, keep your mouth shut and use your time wisely.
So well said! really thats just how I feel in a nutshell.
I don't have a problem with Ben (or anyone) using the show to whatever end they choose, I just think it's a bit inauthentic to pretend for the sake of the show that you're "looking for a wife" if you're really not.
IMO, if it's true that he's just there for a good time, I doubt he would have been chosen for the role had he been honest with his intent. And that goes for everyone involved -- although I'm sure some of the contestants are chosen specifically to play a role and they don't really care why they say they're interested.
But it seems like TPTB are still invested in the fairy tale ending -- especially as that is becoming increasingly rare -- so I would think they would be more apt to choose someone for the lead role who they really believe is (forgive me here) "in it for the right reasons."
I also didn't realize, for some reason, that Ben is only 29. That kind of explains a lot!
