Pffffttttt!! Thank GOD none of you saw me the other weekend in Lake Tahoe. I dropped over $800 in two nights of gambling at the tables. Lord knows WHAT you'd all say about me. :rolleyes

I say that if you can afford $45 dollar undies and you want them then buy them. Why do people feel the need to belittle the people who can afford frivalous things. Some people can spend money like that and some can't. I have a great job and so does my fiance so if we something and we can afford it we buy it.

After hearing Adam on the Today show before the series started and after watching the first episode, I picked Sam as the winner. Pretty obvious that he wanted a NYC girl to be seen with in the city. That eliminated all the out of towners. Said he found someone who grew on him on the Today show. Replayed the tape of the show a few times and went with Sam. I like her a lot. Reminds me of my meeting with my wife and how the sparks flew and the passion was there 27 years ago for this Average Joe Texas country boy and his stylish, outgoing, sophisticated, carefree, animal-loving lady from the big city of Dallas. It can work. Good luck to Sam and Adam.

That's all fine and good, but there's no need to brag about it. That's what sets people off.

    This thread sure changed...
Sam spent $45 on a dog sweater, which is not a waste at all. The sweater will keep her warm and comfortable, not to mention cute.
The sweater might even keep Chloe from getting a cold, that would prevent a Vet visit...therefore, good investment.
It's all in how you look at things.

The only problem with that logic is that Chloe propably already has sweaters and doesn't need one for keeping her warm so that is why it is spending excessive amounts on unneeded items.

I would GLADLY spend $45 per square inch of a stick to beat the dead horse with. It's my $$, try and stop me!
