I don't think Fredo meant it's unthinkable to date a waiter. I think he meant "he's a fake".

Modeling is a short lived career and artists are "starving" Larissa would be wise (as if) to pick someone with a stable income.

Out of all the hunks...I wasn't particularly impressed with Jim (of course, I must admit I was really turned off by his "they are going to have THIS to deal with" in the promos awhile back...I am probably biased). I thought the cutest one was Michael Klein (although the personality outweighed ANY cuteness after we saw a few of MK's antics). I loved his smile. Jim's eyes are really pretty...that's true. But why would Larissa be so overwhelmed with lust/infatuation with him? I just don't think he stands out that much. All the hunks were gorgeous. Gil is cute and has personality too (or so it seems). Makes me think that NBC is only showing the physical stuff with Jim....so we can all rant and rage about how Larissa chooses an airhead (if Jim is the one she ends up choosing).

He seemed like a nice guy, but . . . ah . . . doesn't really read books?! Geez! Couldn't he have just said the name of a book he read in high school like Catcher in the Rye?

James just proved everyone's suspicions that he's stupid. Couldn't initiate a meaningful conversation... then of course, "I don't read books."

    Bwahaha!!!!

    See my post above.

I was thinking the same thing. But she might have then wanted to discuss the book, and he probably would have no memory of the details of anything he read in school. He should have just made up a non-existant book, like "A Day In The Life Of A Blow-Up Doll."

(are you sure there isn't a book with that title? Oh wait...it's probably a movie with that title, huh? )

Looks like Jim wasn't much more than a blow-up doll himself...too bad there wasn't a little more substance to go with the pretty exterior...
It was me. I let the dogs out.
