His pic on that link is even uglier than he appears on AJ2. Well, now he can add "watermelon tossing" to his list of special skills...right next to plastic straw eating. He must be less weird when he isn't acting...he does public speaking and works with children. I wonder if NBC hires a few actors for these shows because the real "average joes" of the world are too bland - bland does nothing for the ratings...so throw in a wild bouncy weirdo (or in AJ1 case...a small ethnic romantic) to get the ratings? I am sooooo ticked that I got suckered into watching this show....not ticked off enough to stop watching though...which is probably just what NBC aimed for.

    From the SAG bio:

    Gender: Male
    Hair: Brown
    Eyes: Brown
    Height: 6'2"
    Neck: 15
    Sleeve: 34
    Shoe: 9.5
    Coat: 38

Ok. So what gives?! His hair isn't even ORANGE!~?!?

This really annoys me! I am new to watching Reality TV - so I am out of the loop, but does this happen often? A network that promotes "real" people...giving them fictional backgrounds, personalities, jobs, etc.... and they are really actors? I am almost tempted to go back to watching shows like "Everybody loves Raymond"....that show is reality to me. Just like my life...and at least the actors admit to being fictional characters.

Amen! Don't we all feel that way sometimes when watching these shows....it's almost like TV's version of crack.

BTW--he'd be really good looking with a makeover. Haircut, contacts, tweezing, decent clothes, and a sedative.
I personally don't think the above mentioned makeover would make this guy attractive in my book, but your post made me wonder, did this guy intentionally cultivate this look to get on a reality show? I mean, it DOES sort of get your attention!
I have found the Truth and it doesn't make sense.
