| Also, a lot of local CBS stations are holding local auditions. My station held an audition downtown and I went and watched. I took some pics of the 60 some contestants that tried out. All they did was the 60 recorded messages for the cameras, then my station sends those off to CBS.It was kind of cool because I told them all about my Big Brother site and everything. One thing that surprised me was that probably half of them have never watched a single episode of Big Brother... or even Survivor.

| That's cool Bri... would be neat if you wound up with a picture of someone who wound up making it on! Weird that most had never watched... I think they may be in for a suprise.... or perhaps they think CBS would prefer to have someone on who has no idea what to expect ![]() John, I noticed that too! The closest one to my neck of the woods is PA. Odd choices.

| I went to the LA casting calls Hi guys, I was at the LA casting calls, but since I hed sent my application and video tape in last September, they said that I didn't need to be there. I was feeling a little bit like I had lost out, until I read your post. Are you saying that they simply gave people a chance to make a video tape there, and turn in thier applications... that was all? No interviews? I hope so. That means that I may still have a chance at getting a call from them. Phew! ![]() |

| Has anyone been to a open casting call? I'v never been to one before, are there tons of people that show up? Any one have any seasoned tips to share? What type of questions do they ask? How open, honest and forward should one be? I don't want to sit there and bore them to death. or do I want them to think I'm crazy! (well maybe thats what there looking for! haha) |

| Open casting calls have ended Sorry to burst your bubble, but the casting calls ended a week or so ago. It was essentially a place for those who have not sent in their applications to go and use cameras provided by the casting department to record your 2 minute video. They then turn your application and video in to CBS for consideration. My video and app were sent last year, around mid-September, but I went to the casting call anyway, and found that it was a waste of time, since I didn't need their help. I, like everone else who had applied, am waiting for "The Call". David |

| Does anyone know if the callbacks for the semi finals have started yet? They'd have to start pretty soon, I imagine , ( if they haven't started already) as they still have to go to each of the cities for interviews, then go back and review what they have, then call back for the finals, fly everyone out to LA for a week for the finals and then make the final decisions. I wonder how much time they give you between the callback and the interview - anyone know? |
