Trump's painted himself in a corner this time. EITHER choice is going to look bad to certain viewers/observers. Sure he could. He could basically tell Piers he's not the type of individual he wants representing his company with his backstabbing ruthless way he treats others. Yeah it's business but you have to keep a certain image out there for the public and Piers ain't it. Maybe behind closed doors, but not on national TV.

He'll give it to Piers because of the business "cut throat" slant.

I dunno, it's tough to be mad at the guy from Cantor Fitzgerald for singlehandedly donating $200k+ to Piers, and then another $100k from Simon Cowell. It's hard to fight that. I don't know that any of the celebrities on the season could have gone toe to toe with Piers in the finale and matched him dollar for dollar, except maybe a motivated Gene Simmons.

It's a shame. I would love for the "good guy" to win, every now and then..

Hey, this may be the first time a room full of people have cheered for Stephen in his sober memory.

Reminding us of Omarosa may be a way of boosting "Piers" as "not that bad".
