I really want Trace to win. And the more I think about the Back Street Boys the angrier I get. They are "acting" like they are (still) something great. I never thought they were all that when they were on top. ![]()

| Re: 3/20 Show Discussion **Spoilers** The Backstreet Boys were at the top of their game about 10 years ago and tried a comeback but obviously it didnt turn out as well as they had hoped, otherwise.....no way would they appear on The Apprentice. It looks like Kevin has left the group, and who was that other guy? Was that their manager or was he the Kevin replacement. Piers will win, but all the PMs that won are considered winners in my book for raising money for their respective charities. Of course, Omarosa is not one. |

Even though he has not won as PM. He had most of the great ideas for the winning tasks when he wasn't project manager.

| Re: 3/20 Show Discussion **Spoilers** If the criteria of success is money raised, Piers will win, hands down. But since the Donald's subjective opinion is all that matters in the end, I don't see him chosing the "foreigner" over the "good ol' country boy" fellow American. Trump has made a point that this contest is one of America vs. Foreigner (as well as rude vs nice, amongst other things). No matter how well Piers does, he cannot win. And that is unfortunate. |

| Re: 3/20 Show Discussion **Spoilers** I think it depends on the criteria Trump uses to decide who is the winner. If it's them most money raised, then I think Piers will win. But if the criteria is the overall success of the event, and the comments that the people make, this I think Trace has a real chance. I'm hoping Trace wins hands down. Go Trace! |

| Re: 3/20 Show Discussion **Spoilers** They'll each be "...judged on three things". Tickets sold. Money raised. And how each one best carries out their organizing responsibilites...Catering/Auction for Piers, Decor/Entertaiment for Trace. |

ETA: The Backstreet Boys fiasco with Trace had to have been staged. It was just too phoney sounding to be real. The producers picked Trace to work on their rider instead of Lennox or Marilou........."Country artist boy meets pop artist boys".... Kinda funny and kinda cheesy ![]()

My thoughts are the same. To be that hyper vigilant that you refrain from eating those tiny bites is extreme.

As for Kevin, he left the group for personal reasons and he was not replaced. He wanted to spend more time with his wife (she was pregnant with their first child at the time) and do some work on Broadway. There's actually a strong possibility that he will rejoin the group for their next album. As for that statement that they were at the top of their game 10 years ago...I'd say they peaked in 2000-2001. I'm sure they would agree with that. But honestly, what pop artist/group from that era didn't peak around then? And most of them are long gone...at least these guys are still together making good music. Their latest album has received some of the best critical reviews of their careers. Just because they're not playing 20,000 seat arenas (which are too expensive anyways) and #1 on TRL doesn't mean that they aren't relevant anymore. All that said, it was still a little strange to see them on a show like The Apprentice. But, I guess that anytime you can get on a nationally televised show, you gotta do it.
