Piers Morgan - Editor/ America's Got Talent Judge

Charity: Piers' charity is Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. PERSONAL CONNECTION: From 2000 to 2005 the Intrepid Fund provided close to $20 million to families of United States military personnel lost in performance of their duty. The Fund provided unrestricted grants to each spouse, child and parents of service members. The payments are coordinated with the casualty offices of the Armed Forces, to ensure all families received these benefits. In January 2007, the Fund also completed construction of a $40 million world-class state-of-the-art physical rehabilitation center at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. This charity particularly resonates with him because his brother has fought in 2 tours of duty in Iraq and his brother-in-law has fought in 2 tours of duty in Afghanistan. They both have lost several friends and comrades and Piers feels that this is a great charity to play for.

Piers Morgan is best known to Americans as the mean judge on "America's Got Talent," but before he was named to the panel for one of NBC's highest ranked shows, Morgan appeared in the UK alongside Simon Cowell as a judge on "Britain's Got Talent" for ITV.
Before appearing on "Britain's Got Talent," Morgan presented shows for BBC1 including "You Can't Fire Me, I'm Famous" and two series of "Tabloid Tales." He co-hosted the current affairs show "Morgan & Platell" and, his book, "The Insider, Private Diaries of a Scandalous Decade", became an instant No. 1 bestseller. His sequel, "Don't You Know Who I Am? Insider Diaries of Fame, Power and Naked Ambition" is out now.
Morgan studied journalism at Harlow College, beginning his career in local south London newspapers. He was then spotted by Kelvin MacKenzie of The Sun and given his own showbiz column, Bizarre.
He lives in London and East Sussex and is a devoted Arsenal fan.

Bah, humbug. If he's a star, I'm a pimple on Trump's backside.

I like Piers! I liked him on AGT and don't really see him as pompous.

I didn't think i'd like him and thought he'd just be another Simon Cowell.

But he actually made sense on a lot of things and gave some pretty good insight on others.

He doesn't have a winning/salesy personality so as long as they keep him from a lot of interpersonal stuff, he'll shine.

He appeared to be very (unnecessarily) rude and dismissive to some of those Rockefeller Center tourists. He could have sent them packing just as quickly without being such a dick about it.

I like that he was dismissive of Omarosa, because anyone who loathes her gets points in my book, but even then you could turn that around and point to how sloppy he was about it. I mean insulting someone by saying you don't know who they are is not usually followed up with a discussion of how you remember them from a "previous series" of the show. Get your insults straight, Piers!

Yup, i think he's going to provide some great one-liners in upcoming episodes so long as he's not falling over them.

I like him and he will stick around for a long time. Why would Trump fire someone who is capable of providing drama and friction?! This season is all about entertainment and I intend go with that.
