| Re: Trace Adkins - Country Music Star I'm pleased he didn't win because I don't think he should have even been in the final, Carole should have been against Piers, imo. There was no way he was ever going to "kick British ass". Sorry, we Brits are made of sterner stuff in general and Piers is in particular. Trace seems like a decent enough guy, although his reaction to Piers kissing him bothered me. I don't know why he reacted like that, hopefully because he was irritated that he was brought into the argument Piers and Omarosa were having rather than because a man pecked him on the cheek. Anyway, nice guy, great speaking voice and I'm sure he brought some publicity to his charity which was one of the main aims of going on the show.

| Re: Trace Adkins - Country Music Star I agree with you Fluff. I was glad that Carole spoke up and said she was made that she was not in the final too. I think that in a quiet way, Trace contributed A LOT to many of the challenges, but he didn't do a very good job of highlighting those things. There were several challenges where he came up with some very creative ideas which sealed wins for his teams. But in the end, it seemed like he either didn't quite get the point of his being there, or else he really didn't care about winning - he just wanted to get another plug in for FANS. I can respect that, but if that was his motivation, it cost him the win. I think the final was Pier's to lose all along. But if Trace had answered the "why should you win" question NOT by talking about how worthy a cause his charity is, but by pointing out the things he'd contributed throughout, he would have at least made it a competition. Instead, he went with this idea that being a nice guy made you more worthy in business ... and tried to convince Donald Trump of that???

Trace is a winner in more peoples eyes than not and that showed throughout the show last nite with everyone being on his side. But bottom line was that a good charity benefited, they both did, just too bad that the spokesperson of the Intrepid Fund was such a piece of garbage | |

| Re: Trace Adkins - Country Music Star No doubt that Trace's reaction to the kiss had plenty to do with the fact that he obviously doesn't like Piers at all, period. Piers made me cringe and that was just from watching him on TV. But as far as the black nail polish thing went, Trace seemed just as turned off - if not more - by the wheatgrass request. And the knee brace set him off as well. I think it was the pettiness of the rider rather than the actual nail polish - obviously his own backstage riders don't include such silly items.

In your opinion it was an invasion of personal space. In mine it was a peck on the cheek and hardly anything to get riled up about. If Carol had kissed him I doubt anyone would be saying she invaded his personal space ![]()

| Re: Trace Adkins - Country Music Star Trace played the game great. His scenes about the BSB had me laughing so hard!! Quite enjoyed the show last night and hope we see new Celebrity Apprentices again and again and again. Much more fun to watch than regular Apprentice. Love the celebrity interactions and seeing them in the board room. |
