Re: Trace Adkins - Country Music Star

I'm liking Trace more and more each episode, he's smart and that voice...oh my it's funny because I don't usually care for the deep baritone voice but I like his and I'm liking his nature. Can't wait to see how he does as PM.

Re: Trace Adkins - Country Music Star

I suspect Trace was the only one Trump could have fired. He was the losing PM on a team where no one else deserved to go. The only other measure could have been how much each of them raised. I don't think Trace was pulling as much in as the others. So, I think Trace is still with us because Trump wants him in the final two - probably against the O.

I don't think Trace is the most deserving to be the apprentice, but he is such a totally likable person.

Brooks I think you are right about Trace... but hopefully he won't be up against Omarossa... she needs to go soon!

Oh to the contrary his fans want to see him go up against her - lol - we know he would be too much of a gentleman to say anything outright but he would highly hint at her being a pain and wouldn't put up with anything but as he keeps reminding himself he isn't there for himself - he is there for the charity. I know I was a bit shocked at how he reacted to being introduced to the second Baldwin outside brother when he looked at the ground totally uninterested and said "never heard of him" - he hasn't let on to anyone in the backstage meet and greets or book signings how far he gets but he has said that he isn't on the tube as much as others since he walks out of the room alot biting his tongue but he will only bite it so much and we can't wait for him to get into toe to toe battle with her. I hope someone, if not Trace, then SOMEONE, spits her up and chews her out one of these shows but even if they do with her ego she would just spin it that she wanted it to turn out that way and that she manipulated them into doing whatever it takes to get her off the show.

Re: Trace Adkins - Country Music Star

I have a hunch he leaves the room because he hates conflict and does not have the skills to deal with it effectively. I doubt he is biting his tongue. He is a quiet, reserved man who avoids conflict because it is his nature. He is still there because his quiet presence, fame and deep voice create the air of power. I believe he removes himself to escape being put on the spot by his peers for not becoming involved as much as avoiding Omarosa.

While you are correct that he is a quiet and reserved man but he hardly has a problem dealing with conflict, he just really doesn't care what people think or say. Anyone that has read his book or seen him on political talk shows knows he will say what he wants when he has a point and won't back down as well as anyone that has seen him live and heard him talk about the people that try and make more out of the song Arlington than there is. I have his statements live on video of talking about the song Arlington and he has said this to huge crowds - so I don't think this statement made to an almost sell out crowd shows his lack off dealing with conflict from a recent review of his Asheville, NC show

Quote:
ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Trace Adkins had just finished singing "Arlington" when he told the crowd that some critics thought he was making a political statement with that song. But as long as the fans like it, he said, "I don't give a [expletive deleted] what the critics have to say."
The biting his tongue comment were words out of his own mouth not only in his recent book signing in California but also in Mohegan Sun over New Years. I had friends that were in the book signing and heard the interview with him on both occasions. He said that alot of times he just had to walk out of the room in order not to go off on someone as his interview from CMT clearly states below. Many times he has been quoted as saying that the show was a lesson in restraint -

Quote:
What was the experience on Celebrity Apprentice like?
It was an exercise in restraint for me. I was there representing a charity. There were times when I wanted to go off on somebody, but I didn’t do it. I didn’t play the game that way.
On a recent, well since the book came out at least, he has been on Hannity and Colmes and Bill Maher, to name a few, where he expresses his very strong opinions and views and shows he is not the "ignorant redneck" (his own words) that some people seem to think he is.

I really think he has a good shot at winning this and won't be a bit surprised if he does.

didnt mean to come off as preachy but I did know what he has said publicly and in appearances. But yes you are correct, he is a total gentleman and very quiet and reserved - until you get him riled lol - I know every time i have met him in person he has been very shy and almost like he didnt understand what the big fuss was but WE know what the big fuss is

and oh I cant wait to see some pictures of when he has Omarosa and some others to a private concert in Nashville "His guests will include Tiffany Fallon, Nely Galàn, Marilu Henner and Omarosa Stallworth." - I KNOW O will be squirming like she was last week at the photo shoot

Re: Trace Adkins - Country Music Star

Trace is extremely likable. And he has come up with a majority of the ideas for his team on most tasks. He lost as PM for no other reason than big donors. He deserves to be in the final two as much as any of them. I'm not impressed with others. I think Trace has carried himself the best and has a lot to be proud of when the show ends.
