| Lee gets the episode ending... "he's in big trouble" edit. Usually that person turns around in part 2 of a finale. But I think this might be a BIG exception. Lee is just coming off as mondo estupido. The Andrea "coughing up blood" thing almost seems like this season's "Joe Piscopo pulled out" moment, where maybe something was "arranged" (I mean her reaction seems very over the top). But Tammy actually had an idea to have her pick stuff up anyway, which wasn't a bad way to spin it. Maybe Tammy isn't TOTALLY useless. Ah. Here's the rub--Andrea "knows things" she didn't tell the others. I hate to seem insensitive but this was SO set up. To make Lee's slaughter seem a bit in doubt. How the heck are we "helping Trump pick"? I mean the people at home just PROVED tonight that they don't understand home voting instructions!

| Andrea's illness couldn't have happened at a better time. I'm sure TPTB ate that up.

| Apparently Andrea doesn't have a phone either. |

| So the show starts a half hour later next week. At least it won't be the usual 2 or 3 hour finale. Those are usually painful to watch.

| Tammy says "Oh, after you finish coughing up blood would you stop by Pathmark and pick up some groceries?" Wow, what a sympathetic response!

One is that they can't break up into more than 2 groups of workers. That's part of why you always see people "forced" to group up, when it might make more sense to leave someone behind entirely. Also why every few seasons there might be some plotline with a team seeming "trapped" at the office unable to go out and help their colleagues. Another rule seems to be... only two cell phones per team. Ever. There are more of these, but these are the ones which come into play now. I'm assuming leaving for a medical reason means that Andrea is temporarily "excused" from being on a sub-team, and Tarek COULD go off on his own from Sean and Tammy, but I'd bet it also means that Andrea can't take a phone. And on second thought I'll bet she actually probably CAN'T pick up those things Tammy suggested without being re-designated as a team and risking some kind of rules breach (lord knows what happens if they break these rules though. We're never really told...) Quote:
Plus, even if it IS true, Andrea made a commitment, seems to feel she needs to honor it (apart from any Producer instructions if we are discounting this being a manipulated twist), and while she's been shown as a bit overbearing in the past is hardly weak or whiny. Why would she have a problem with what was asked? If she couldn't do it for medical reasons than Tammy would just have to get over it. I have zero problem with how Tammy handled this, and from her reaction I don't really think Andrea was upset either. Of ALL people Andrea understands being task oriented, and I don't think she's two-faced enough to act holier than thou about someone else being "Andrea like" back to her in terms of that quality.

| Sean was really sweet and sympathetic to Andrea ... his sincerity impressed me. Tammy on the other hand is like in her own world ... What does Sean see in her? |

| Re: Andrea coughing up blood -- my guess is, it started off as a nosebleed, maybe caused by stress. It (the blood) started running from her nose down the back of her throat, and she started coughing up the blood. Not to sound too graphic, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's probably not serious. |

I was thinking the same thing. I've had tons of nosebleeds and you described them perfectly. I really don't think Andrea has come down with something serious. I was disappointed that there was no Denis Leary appearance tonight! I love him. And I was REALLY disappointed that we have 90 minutes next week instead of 60, but at LEAST it's not one of those 2 hour fiascos.
