His decision was good. But his reasoning behind it was stupid and pointless, not to mention inconsistent (as usual).

If Roxanne kept her mouth shut Trump would have bitched about her impassivity. He would have fired both of them anyway, but their fighting gave him a convenient excuse to do so.
