THanks so much, Cootie, but I was responding to the PM's that she had sent, so she must not have had the feature disabled.
Our old FORT worked so well.
I don't spend too much time here nowadays, mainly because of things like this.

The settings on someone's account don't have anything to do with the upgrade. Since we don't discuss any member's account with any other member, I couldn't tell you what the problem is, even if I knew.
Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.' - Isaac Asimov
I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"
I came here to see what was happening. This site used to be huge. I can almost name those who post here now. The number is very small. What a shame. I like the size and format. I will have to hunt to find where everyone is other than the Bachelor spoiler board.I like to talk about all the shows.
Who were you corresponding with? I did some research and there is a set limit of how many PM's a registered user can have in their inbox. The number was set to 35 for regular non-moderators. This might be the cause of the issue, so I increased it to 250. Hope that helps!
It isn't just this site that's lost a lot of members. The other reality tv site I used to post at was very active at one time but it got where almost no one was posting there anymore. Even the mods and admin didn't seem to be coming around. It's starting to come back a bit since Survivor and The Amazing Race started but not nearly on the scale it once was at.
I was going to run a pool for Survivor and The Amazing Race at that site. I just needed a minimum of five people to sign up and I got no participants!
I don't know if there are fewer people watching reality tv, fewer people posting about it, or if more people are discussing their shows in Facebook groups or other social media. I still prefer forums so I'm not going anywhere! I like it here.
