What in the heck? I just typed a post, but it never posted when I hit "save." I am not in a good mood.

Ok, here's what I originally wrote.

I feel like a parent who goes away and comes back to find the house trashed by their teenager. I'm speechless...and not in a good way.

I will try to reset the color. I'm in my 40's with reasonably good eyesight, but even I am finding this white scheme hard on my eyes. I feel like I'm staring at a hospital wall.

What happened to the old User CP? To all the threads I was subscribed to? My private messages?

I will try hanging out for a while, but so far not liking it. Yet another of my favorite places ruined by a corporate buy-out. I'm going to live in the woods somewhere.

And thanks for the heads up, Ellen. I'm going to check now.

    Re: Site Adjustments

Just wanted to apologize for my above comments. Now that I've poked around here for a while, I'm finding that it's not too bad. I've got the color changed and managed to find my CP. I really wish, though, that it would be made more accessible like it used to be on the old site. Also, I've noticed the site acting really sluggish, too. I hope it won't be that way forever, because there's several shows I like to comment on.

There used to be a place in the User CP where you could mark all the forums that you didn't want to see. I have poked around, but have not been able to find that yet. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Unfortunately, the 'ignore forums' function is not available with this version of VBulletin. TV Guide is aware of the problem and we're all on the lookout for an add-on when it becomes available.

Also unfortunately, the staff has no control over what got changed in this new version of the software. We're all trying to figure out how to get things as close as possible to how they were, but some of it may not ever go back to the way it was.

I'd like to point out that the site links/bread crumbs are already back at the bottom of the page, as was requested.

Thanks Critical. At least now I know not to bother looking for it.

I'm not sure what the corporate buy-out is you are speaking of. TV Guide has been in charge of the site for awhile now. I would say it's been over a year at least. I'm not a fan of the new site at the moment, but things will get better.

We became a part of the TV Guide network in February of 2007 (FORT Joins TVGuide.com Network), so it's been more than 4 years.

I just want to clarify that the issues we're having have nothing to do with TV Guide. It has to do with the fact that many of the modifications and add-ons that we had before are not compatible with this new version of VBulletin.

Can we please have the ability to block the posts again? The one that made it possible for us to have the forum hide the posts of certain people? I really liked that function. Thanks!
