Site Adjustments

I was familiar with vBulletin 4 from another site I frequent. I'm not sure what others are seeing on their computers, but I don't have any problems reading this board, and I like the new format.

That color scheme is much easier on the eyes of this 50+ year old. Is there any way at this point to "save" it? Or do I have to select it each time I sign in.

I like the Fort Default test skin too. It kept changing back to the default white skin each time I visited fort and I found out that in order for it to stick as my default skin for every time I come to the site, I had to go into my settings to set it to stay. You can go to-
Settings > Look for My account >General Settings and then you can pick the skin you want to stay as your default then click save.

For the time being, you can change your color scheme to "FORT default test" for a little more contrast on your screen. There is a menu at the bottom left of every page. Warning: if you put in an old color scheme it will just look wacky.

Really? I just clicked the Fort Default test skin once at the bottom of the page and it has remained that way every time I check in.

I clear my cookies frequently, so that may be why it didn't "stick" for me as it did for some of the rest of you.

I changed to the Fort default skin the other day.
The problem, however, is that the text body is still in bright white which is killing my eyes. Sorry to complain, but after eye surgery 6 months ago, the last thing I want to do is possibly go blind again.

You may wish to check your individual profile preferences. For security and privacy purposes, I chose specifically to NOT have my full birthdate displayed -- yet I logged on and, lo and behold, the changeover had defaulted to displaying everything. After clicking around, I finally was able to figure out how to change it back. I am not pleased about this breach.
