Is this all Tv Guide's fault? What the heck did they do?

What did THEY do??? My question is "What did WE do?" It's like we're being punished.

    Re: Site Adjustments

    Question:

For the first time in years I decided to change the color of my gif avatar (!!!).

So, I found three other gifs I liked.

Not a problem, except when I looked at them after I'd changed them out and stuck them on the site, the new avatars had no movement, like I looked for, and wanted.

When I removed the new avatars and switched back to my old one, the rose opened and closed as it had done ever since I first stuck it up.

What's up with the new ones?

    Anybody got any ideas?

Since the reformat, it's been frustratingly slow for me too.

Yes, and it's a discouragement with regards to posting, ensuring discussion etc. The only time it is ok is on my iPad; I try not to go on on the pc as it is so very slow. No other problems with other sites.

It is still taking a while to load initially. So I am not reading as much nor posting as much.

I find it runs fairly well on Safari, but IE is a nightmare. It's really unfortunate.

It's been running fast for me on IE and did run fast on Firefox until recently, after I used the fix posted upthread.

I still believe the slowness problems are related to virus/malware/spyware protection software. It's just a matter of figuring out which one of causing the problem for each user.
