It's just plain weird that the site used to run & be run so much better before TV Guide took over.

    Re: Site Adjustments

I used to post on the TV Guide boards back when they had forums. They had a lot of Mad Men posters and a very active board back then. About 4 months ago I went to their site again and it said they no longer had message boards. I thought that was odd. I guess there has been a lot of changes. I never had a slowness issues with their old boards though.

Oh, I don't blame the mods, at all.

    Hi,

I can no longer view my previous posts from my profile or research other member's previous posts (before the change in format). I have tried using the "search" tool but I do not get any results. Is this problem happening to everyone after the change in format or is there a new way of researching previous posts?

Thanks for your help in advance.

I don't do anything that is not essential to reading and posting due to the extreme slowness, so I have no idea.

TVG needs to rebuild those indexes before we can fully use that search feature.

Thanks for the response. I am happy to know that they may be able to restore this feature.

You used to be able to click on that little arrow icon next to a quote to read the original post and that no longer works. Or it no longer works using Firefox. Is it a site problem or a browser problem?

Okay guys, we need your help! TVG_Phil would like to work on the slowness problems, but he needs help from those of you who are having the problem. If any of you would be willing to help out by sending TVG_Phil a PM, so he can try to figure out what's going on, that would be great. Because he can't duplicate the issue on his machine, he can't fix it. Thanks for your patience, everyone!
