I still can't get the "go to first new post" function to work. It goes to the top of the last page. Am I the only one this is still happening to, or am I just the only one still complaining about it?![]()

History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Martin Luther King, Jr.
I am annoyed by the occasional "position jumping" of the last line of my post while I am trying to finish it. As I try to complete the sentence, that line will drop out of sight. You can pull it back up, but you can't keep it where it needs to be unless you hold a key down, and then, if you release the key, it's out of sight again. And this doesn't happen consistently...just enough to be annoying.

I am not having that problem - it goes to the last post. CTL+END will usually take you to the bottom of the page with one page up taking you to the last post.

I just had the problem again, in another thread. I will try your advice.

I figured you were the first to mention it, I'd go ahead and take care of it![]()
Okay folks, TVG_Phil found the answer for my problem with slowness on the site and maybe it will work for the rest of you too!
1. Try disabling your anti-virus - specifically your web shield component if you can choose [I have Avast and you have to choose Web Shield from the list of shields]
2. At this point, turn your antivirus back on, and find the spot in the software to add an 'exclusion' or an 'exception' and put one in for http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/* - That should fix you permanently while not compromising your system security. [In Avast, I clicked on Advanced Settings to get to the screen with the option to add an exception. ]
Also, don't use Chrome for now. Stick with IE and Firefox.
Hope this helps!

Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.' - Isaac Asimov
I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"
Thanks for all of the hard work to make us happy.
My problem is (besides being slow) I can no longer access the site with IE, it keeps telling me the site is down or there is no access. Thankfully, I had read an earlier post in which recommended Firefox. Just wanted to pass this along in case others are having the same problem.
