Re: Site-wide Ad Takeover

Yep, I just made it active. It was supposed to be midnight, but I have to get up early for work, and I'm not going to stick around just to run a few queries

Re: Site-wide Ad Takeover

Haha when I logged on right now I was like "wtf?" It's a nice change though, for a bit. Like others said the "FORT" banner at the top is really nice.

I like the color scheme, just not the background.

Re: Site-wide Ad Takeover

Its not bad. The only part I don't like is that it seems to mean that about 1/3 of the screen real estate is gone on the sides. Ergo... lots more scrolling.

Also, if you enlarge your fonts, as I tend to do on my web browser, stuff winds up looking kind of weird.

Will there be more advertising like this in the future?

I thought my daughter, Shel93, came on and changed my settings!

America's Next Producer ... hmmmm, I bet I watch. No, I won't, I dont have it on my tv guide.

Yes, there will. Not sure exactly what, but "it's the wave of the future".

And Krom, yes, it's skinnier because it's a fixed-width style. Unfortunately, that does mean more scrolling, though.

After "On The Lot" I can't really see it being a big success. Then again, maybe it just artificially focuses on casting couches and salary negotiations and studio strikes and stealing people under contract and dealing with bitchy stars and other juicier Hollywood stuff than simple "filming" stuff.

As for this kind of advertising? I can think of far worse alternatives, so I can put up with a fixed width for a bit to avoid those.
