Yes, you did. It's in the rules you agreed to when you joined - so you either didn't read them (and agreed to them) or did read them and decided we didn't care about them. Either way, you were wrong.
I've been recieving infractions left and right. I'm a poster child for reading the FAQ when you first join. HA!
Ok, so i have a question. This happened a long while ago but in the Jennifer Hudson thread i posted one of her blog posts from MySpace and recieved an infraction. It was riddled with lingo, but those weren't my words. I had just posted what she wrote.
What are the rules on this? Oh and what are the rules for posting blog posts?
Oh, there should be one. I'm bad about typos because I type faster than I can think. :lolQuote:

"Police catch Feeling Suspect"
I had to read the article, but it was FLEEING suspect.
When posting something from another source, you're still responsible for it meeting our rules. The same, for example, as if it were riddled with non-PG-13 words. That means either fixing it yourself, or not posting it.Quote:

Anything copied/pasted from another site MUST include a link. However, keep in mind that we don't allow links to "competing" sites, so if it's a site that writes recaps, it's going to be better to just not do it. You are free, however, to summarize anything said on another site. For example, "Jennifer Hudson says on her blog that she (whatever)". In your own words, of course, again not a direct cut and paste.
Is there any way to see if we have infractions? So infractions disappear from your record after a certain amount of time?
You will know when you get an infraction because you will get a private message from the staff member who issued it explaining why you received the infraction. You can see a list of all your infractions in your profile - but only you and FORT staff members can see them because they are always kept private. Infraction points remain in effect for 30 days.Quote:

Thanks Marleybone... I guess there is no need for me to loose sleep over that deleated post I had maybe 6 months ago...
And for what it is worth, I love that we don't allow "chatspeak" because I am just not hip enough to understand it :)
im sorry for using lingo,i wasnt read this thread before ~_~
I just found this thread. Now I'm racking my brain trying to remember if I've slipped in some late night posts. I always feel so guilty when I get an infraction (I think I've had two). It's like I've been caught being naughty by my teacher.
