That's strange, Mariner. I could have sworn I was typing a pm when one popped up. Maybe i'm remembering wrong.

I had one pop up while typing a pm too. It seems to pop up when I go to a new page or refresh the same way that pm notification pops up.

You two are probably right. I'll see how it works now.

I had it happen like that for me, too. While in a forum I saw that I had one and clicked on "pager messages" to go see what it was, but that list showed that I had nothing. So when I clicked back to the Main Forum, it then popped up. :)

John, is there a way to control where on the page the pager window opens? Sometimes it opens at the top of the page, sometimes nearer the bottom... it gives me trouble just finding where it is sometimes.

I'm using Opera, if this is some freaky browser compatibility problem.

It's just a window, so it SHOULD pop up wherever you left the last window. At least, that's how Firefox works.
