This rosette goes to jlccaz for her take on The Bachelor.

The "hot AND well educated" comment had all the earmarks of a producer-initiated remark elicited as a joke and aired as real. That's SOP for reality tv. Six weeks of producers trying to bait them into on-camera conduct unbecoming of their normal selves.
Lovely concept for a show, eh?
Was anyone else grossed out by the gaping gawping clapping 100% female attendees at the WTA SPECTACLE? Are we online "fans" any better or different?
The "TELL ALL" that SHOULD be written is one by female producers of this show, and how they live with themselves for architecting and airing this anti-woman spectacle season after season. I don't blame ABC for selling out to advertisers and the crowd-- it's a corporation with shareholders to please. I don't blame bachelors with lonely hearts, hefty wallets and businesses to promote. I don't blame Chris Harrison for reading those dopey dopey lines year after year -- he has a family to feed.
But it's fair to ask how individual -- yes, WELL EDUCATED -- females in television can live with themselves after collaborating to cast, produce, edit and air these spectacles that reduce women to body parts, "gone wild" moments, cattiness, desperation to find a man, and single out for special attack/ridicule a woman seeking a well educated life partner!
There isn't enough anti bacterial soap in the world to clean your hands of that dirty work. And I hope that they read this.
Congratulations on a great post
