Hmm... I guess I've yet to actually introduce myself... Been lurking for 11 months, though! I am a 19-year-old male college student majoring in Mathematics. I hope to teach at the collegiate level. I live in the "Deep South" in the United States of America, and I am a serious fan of Survivor, Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and The Mole. As an indicator of my fanaticism, I have Survivors 5-7 and Big Brothers 2-4 and all on tape minus: Survivor 6: Episode 1 and first half of Episode 5 Big Brother 3: Episodes 3, 15, 16, and 17. (Ever go a week without electricity during Big Brother season?) ... and I have a vast majority of The Amazing Races 2-4 Notes: I love the "lingo" rule, the p/recaps, and the games (like DV's Big Brother game and Bored's Survivor) at the FORT. Great atmosphere, and TAR4 Dave rules! Pseudo-eloquently, ~Healblade

Hi folks! I finally ventured out of the reality t.v. threads and found a whole new world to occupy hours of my time when I should be doing laundry. My name's Alice, amazingly enough, I live in Memphis, TN and I have red hair. I'm 43 (but I'm in denial - :phhht ) and on my second marriage (fingers crossed!) to a retired Air Force officer ("and you may ask yourself 'how did I get here?'")I have a daughter who will be 16 on New Year's Day. She's driving on a learner's with mom's fingernails firmly embedded in the dashboard! I really enjoy reality t.v. and being at the FORT. My husband and kid think I'm nuts and won't listen to a word about the shows I watch, but I know where my true soul brothers and sisters are! I enjoy the heck out of you guys!

Although I have a few posts to my name I just found this thread and I'm dying to get one of those welcome smilies just for me. ![]() My name is Jóhann, I'm 22 years old and I live in Reykjavík, Iceland. Actually I only live here during winters when I'm at college, in the summers I go back to my hometown of Sauðárkrókur in north Iceland. My interests are golf, football (the one and only kind ), the internet, TV, music, video games, movies and more. Currently I'm single with no kids of course. I found this forum while searching for some World Idol discussions, it had some and more. ![]() My favorite reality TV shows are Survivor and The Amazing Race, I also like Idol (even though I would never really listen to the music outside of the show), I watched AI2 and World Idol and now we even have Icelandic Idol which is currently down to the final four. I also like Queer Eye..., Meet My folks and The Simple Life. We don't have quite as many reality shows over here as you do and the ones we do have are often shown long after they are aired in America which can suck because of spoilers on the internet and such. But Survivor isn't far behind here, only a few days so I guess I can take part in those discussions when All Stars get going. My all-time favorite TV shows are Seinfeld, The Simpsons and Family Guy, in that order.
