I finally ventured out of the reality t.v. threads and found a whole new world to occupy hours of my time when I should be doing laundry.
My name's Alice, amazingly enough, I live in Memphis, TN and I have red hair.
I'm 43 (but I'm in denial - :phhht ) and on my second marriage (fingers crossed!) to a retired Air Force officer :omg ("and you may ask yourself 'how did I get here?'")
I have a daughter who will be 16 on New Year's Day. She's driving on a learner's with mom's fingernails firmly embedded in the dashboard!
I really enjoy reality t.v. and being at the FORT. My husband and kid think I'm nuts and won't listen to a word about the shows I watch, but I know where my true soul brothers and sisters are!
I enjoy the heck out of you guys!
I know that feeling well, memphis!
:welcome to the REST of FORT! Your laundry will never get done again :lol
And :hiya healblade! (Psssst-I got my BS in Mathematics IN south Georgia!)
..it's like they've found the doorway to Narnia in the back of the closet!
Thanks for introducing yourselves, healblade and mrh! And merry Christmas!
Although I have a few posts to my name I just found this thread and I'm dying to get one of those welcome smilies just for me. ;)
My name is Jóhann, I'm 22 years old and I live in Reykjavík, Iceland. Actually I only live here during winters when I'm at college, in the summers I go back to my hometown of Sauđárkrókur in north Iceland. My interests are golf, football (the one and only kind ;)), the internet, TV, music, video games, movies and more. Currently I'm single with no kids of course.
I found this forum while searching for some World Idol discussions, it had some and more. :)
My favorite reality TV shows are Survivor and The Amazing Race, I also like Idol (even though I would never really listen to the music outside of the show), I watched AI2 and World Idol and now we even have Icelandic Idol which is currently down to the final four. I also like Queer Eye..., Meet My folks and The Simple Life. We don't have quite as many reality shows over here as you do and the ones we do have are often shown long after they are aired in America which can suck because of spoilers on the internet and such. But Survivor isn't far behind here, only a few days so I guess I can take part in those discussions when All Stars get going. :)
My all-time favorite TV shows are Seinfeld, The Simpsons and Family Guy, in that order.
Per you request! :welcome to the FORT!
:welcome Jogi. :)
I'm looking forward to seeing you in the Survivor forum.
Well this is my first time posting in any board so I thought I would give it a try.
I'm single female and 39 (yeap, the big 4 - 0 this year !) and absolutely love reality tv. I've viewed other boards but this is my first time on Fans of Reality TV.
Well I guess that's a start and will log on in the future when I can add something meaningful to some of the forums
