    Fan Art is now allowed

    Reversing our previous position regarding "fan art" (yeah, we hate it, and we still do, but...), we will now allow it on the site.

    Here are the restrictions:

    1) There will be ONE "fan art" thread in any given show forum. If there's not one already, and you have some to post, please start it yourself. Don't wait for us.

    2) Fan Art will not be allowed in contestant threads, show discussion threads, etc. It will ONLY be allowed in the Fan Art thread in that particular forum. Fan art in other threads will be deleted, NOT moved.

    3) PLEASE keep your images at a respectable size. If they throw off the alignment of the page at 1024x768 resolution, they will be removed. That means you have maybe 800 pixels wide to work with. That should be plenty.

    4) PLEASE keep in mind that many of our users come here via dialup connection, and make your images as small in filesize as possible to accomodate them.

    Fan art is user-created artwork. I'm not sure how else to explain it. Some of our members are pretty good with photoshop and other image editing software. It can be as simple as adding a contestant's name to a photo, or really imaginative artwork.
