Quick question....have some of the old moderators (I don't mean old as in age, I mean old as in the ones that have been here for a while like Lobeck and sher) decided not to be moderators anymore?

Yes. We posted this in an announcement that was up for a bit, but it may have been missed. We're changing the roles of the moderators as we grow and try to keep up with that growth. And as we make changes, some of the moderators have taken the opportunity to retire, for various reasons.
