Well I don't know about all of you, I think not using spell checkers keeps me on my toes...

I guess this means that I am the only computer ignorant poster that can't find Spell Check, can't download whatever the ABC check is and has no idea what Foxfire is.

Is this a diabolical way to limit my posting or just clarify how dumb I am? Can anyone help me?

Thanks, FireWoman. How do I know if the spell check works?

The version of Firefox that I have automatically marks mis-spelled words with a red line below them, just like MS Word.

I downloaded it, but I don't see any red lines even when I deliberately misspell something. Do I have to key into it somehow?

I have been using my dictionary, but suspect that it is older than I am and missing all the made up words that are in the new ones. This is probably a good thing though.

Try downloading this extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3497/. I think that's what did it for me.

Also, there are tons of cool add-ons and extensions at https://addons.mozilla.org/.
