This conversation is confusing me. I can't see my spell check this morning. It's possible that John is working on something.
Phonegrrl, can you take a screenshot of where you're seeing it?

I use it all the time, Unk (including this post, because I have spelling issuesOriginally Posted by Unklescott;2183811;
). As Cornedbeef said, you've got do to a little download, but it's so small that I didn't even need administrator approval on my work system and my sorry home computer took it with no problem.
I use Firefox, not IE. I just logged on with Explorer and there it is, but not on Firefox.
Well, that explains it. I can't use Firefox...inasmuch as I want to...until I upgrade.
Same here, Unk. Now I see it.Originally Posted by Unklescott;2183833;
The reason I brought the subject up was because I thought it wasn't available since the last upgrade, but posters were referring to it in the "lingo" thread like they were using it currently.
Firefox has a built-in spell checker as well, so if that's your browser of choice that might help.
well, I don't need itbut I'm glad it is there.
I am on internet explorer and I don't have one. Where is this download you speak of?
Never mind.. It's in the advanced but not the "quick reply"![]()

Leo, where is that and how do I use it?Originally Posted by Leo;2184322;
You don't have to do anything out of the ordinary to use it - it's done by default. What it does is when it sees a mis-spelled word, it marks it with a red underline (just like what any good word processor will). Right-click on it to see what it thinks is the right word.
Screencaps of what it looks like:
Earlier versions of Firefox don't have this, however.
