Wait, Star! This just happened to me somewhere weird. It was in the compose private messages screen, instead of bullets, there was text that said "create list."

I'm wondering if we're in the middle of some kind of update or something. I hope its not permanent. It looks a little cluttered to me. I mean, wouldn't the "reload" and "go back" things be redundant? Like Lucy said, I'd adjust. It just doesn't seem necessary.

Those buttons have stayed the same on mine. Maybe it's a browser thing?

Do y'all still see the icons beside forums telling you whether they're read or not, and the icon for the last post in a thread? That's all gone for me.

Ok, it must be buggy at the moment or something. Almost all my buttons are gone and are replaced with text. Even the "sticky" graphic is gone and replaced with the text, "sticky thread". I know that can't be on purpose. I'm guessing this is some sort of update or rearrangement or something.

They are gone for me, too, Lucy.

And don't worry, Star, this isn't permanent.

(At least I hope not, or I'll have to eat my hat or some other cliche.)

It's been weird for me as well. Probably since about 1:30 p.m. today (west coast).

Just logged in, and site's behaving strangely for me too. The graphics seem to be fine, but the forum and thread tools menu are dead. So's the "Search this thread" one. And the dropdown menus in the reply screen are working, but they don't have any options. :hmmm

I don't want you to think that we're not open to change, but the mods have gone around on this thing and haven't come up with a system that will work better than the current one. We are very committed to keeping the forums spoiler-free, and that's basically the starting point.
Okay. It was just a suggestion, and it obviously won't work. I appreciate the discussion and the thoughts about it. I think this site is great and well run and would not like to see changes if it becomes more work for the mods or worse for the members.
