You can only delete or edit your posts for 30 minutes. After that, it's set in stone. We do this because generally, there are replies to your posts after that time, and deleting or editing your post changes the context.

The 30 minute allowance gives you time to correct spelling or sharpen up some of your thoughts.

I think you should delete all those very very old thread, like those in the games or those in the purgatory. But! Never delete ANTM threads!!!

Funkalicious, are you aware that you can set the "default age" to show threads? For example, if you set it at 30 days, any thread older than 30 days won't appear to you? It's in your User CP, under "Edit Options", and looks like this:

I tried to e-mail suggestions but it got bounced back!! Anyways, not a biggie since I can cut and paste to a word document, but sometimes, like the advice for kids leaving the nest and going to college, the whole thread is really useful. If there were a printer friendly version of the page that would be great. I have absolutely no idea how hard that is to do, but some of the tips here are really great to have

Click "Thread Tools". (directly above first post on each page)
    Then click "Show Printable Version".

There was some problems with the email, but it's working now.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.
