    Problem

Is anyone else getting a message like this:

    ERROR

I was in the AI thread and tried to go to the GD and this is what popped up

That's an error on your end. Your work's firewall is preventing access.

For the past couple of days, it seems real slow moving between threads and even posting replies. Anyone else having problems or is it my computer? I have cable internet and a pretty fast processor. I've only noticed the slowness the past couple of days.

ETA: it doesn't happen every time but enough for me to notice.

Hi Archie, that hasn't been happening to me. Do you only notice it at FORT or everywhere?

I run Adaware and Spybot when I notice my computer running slower. There's a lot of crap out there on the internet your computer can pick up. Both of these programs are free shareware.

ACF, this has been happening to me as well, both at home and at work.

Yesterday I cleared my cookies and did some other clean-up and today everything appears to be going faster, although it was only on the fort that I had the slow down. Other sites moved along as fast as usual.

How come I can't see members' names anymore?

OK, not even sure how to explain this...but as of yesterday, when I was in a thread, I could see what other members were on the particular thread. But today, no names are at the top of each thread. I realize that if no one if there besides me, this will always be the case. But I don't even see my name up there. And I know I'm there!

We occasionally turn them off, to help with overloaded servers when we're busy.
