Sounds like a security setting on your browser to me.

    Re: Problem

I have checked my security settings and am still have problems. I usually use AOL to connect but even with IE alone it still does not work. I will have to keep looking. Thanks for the suggestions.

    Re: Problem

Is the site extra slow tonite or is it me? I can change threads, page friends and receive pages, but I cannot get into my PM box for messages. It says Page cannot be found.
I rebooted and signed in again, but still cannot get in to the pages and changing threads is excruciatingly slow.
Could be me ... I have a dinosaur of a computer, but this is strange - no PM's The number changes when a new one comes in but I cannot get into the inbox????

    Re: Problem

I've noticed something odd and its only happening in all the threads in the General Discussion forum...when I go to click on the arrow for the last post that I read in that particular thread, it automatically takes me to the very 1st post of the entire thread.....

Any idea as to why? I've signed off, I've cleared my cookies, etc....

    Re: Problem

I've had it happen to me a bit, too. It's usually with old threads that have been revived all of a sudden... I can't explain why it happens either.

    Re: Problem

I'm having a similar issue, where I'll read a thread (in this case, not an old one, but a short one, 3 posts), and the thread isn't marked as read.

The site is extra slow for me the last couple of days, too.

    Re: Problem

    I have a general question.

If nobody has started a thread can I? I mean if for example Top Chef is starting tonight and there is no thread on it. Sheesh. Can I be any more articulate?

    Re: Problem

Sure you can, livin4reality. If a thread hasn't been started by a staff member, say, within 5 minutes of the show starting, go for it. All we ask is that you follow the same format as previous show discussion threads in that forum (i.e. "Please keep all discussion of tonight's show in this thread only . . .").

    Thanks.

    Re: Problem

Well since this the problem thread, I just have to vent. May not be the right place...

The BB live feed discussion thread is about anything BUT what is currently going on. I check the transcriptions, but a lot of times nobody is doing that (a difficult job-I sure as heck couldn't do it) so I go to discussion and it is starting to make me ANGRY. Crazy huh? Opening up threads on the individual houseguests helped a little, but every single day MRA needs to be defined. LNC is another. Talk about God. Talk about state of play. just on and on. Deep breath here. It is unusual for me to get this upset about something so...trivial. Maybe I need a BB break.
