I'm using FireFox with Adblock. Perhaps that's why it's not affecting me.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.
I'm using Firefox as well, Uncle David. It's not a pop-up. It's a drop down ad.

"I'll just see where Providence takes me and try to look like I got there confidently." - Craig Ferguson
I tried clicking on "try it now" hoping maybe that would satisfy the monster and it would go away, but no. It came right back the next time I changed pages.
ETA: I just figured out if you just ignore the ad it will go away by itself. It's still annoying as hell though.![]()

I did that too, Marley, thinking that maybe it would appease the tvguide gods . . . but alas, it is still there! Very irritating indeed!
I don't have OCD, I have CDO. It's like OCD except that the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be!
Have you installed the Adblock extension?Originally Posted by Stargazer;2354667;

It seems to have stopped now. There is a banner at the top of the page but the dropdown ad is gone.![]()
Thank you to whoever fixed that. I still have a little sanity left.
I missed it earlier, but it appears to only drop-down when you put your mouse over it. Is anyone seeing something different?
Mine was dropping down without any mouse help. My cursor was up on the refresh icon at the top of the page when it would happen.
ETA: Now it drops down if my mouse goes over the top of it, but that is not what it was doing before. The drop-down now is a lot smaller--where before it covered the whole screen and didn't want to go away.
