Resizing Pics I managed to resize a picture in a paint program that I would like to use as an avatar, but it won't let me save the picture as a .jpg, it will only allow me to save as .bmp What am I missing? ![]()

I, like John, recommend 2020. It is fast and easy to give you want you want.

We have Paint Shop Pro and it is easy to crop and resize pics...even for the computer challenged like me. ![]()

| Of course, PSP is not free - except for the 30-day trial. In fact, it's relatively expensive to purchase. I was mainly pointing out completely free options over having to use something like Paint. | |

Sorry....I didn't know you were just recommending free programs. My son gets all the stuff for our computer and I didn't realize PSP was so expensive. ![]()

I guess my computer is just too old to allow me to do what I wanted to do. It doesn't give me the option of .jpg in the drop down box at all. Thanks though, everyone.
