Adobe pictures

Help!! I scanned some pics and e-mailed them to myself, but they will only pull up in Adobe. Is there any way someone can assist me in reformatting them so I can post one as my avatar?

When you have the photo open, try clicking File, then Save As, and then under the file name choose jpg from the menu.

When I click on it, it doesn't give me the option of saving as. I will try to beg my husband to find the cords to our scanner at home and hook it up. I am too stupid to deal with such technological advancements as a printer/scanner/copier with e-mailing capabilities.

Can you tell us what the file extension is please?

I'm guessing maybe TIFF.

Ah, okay. It's not really a picture file, but it's an Acrobat file... I can give you some help. E-mail it to me, and tell me what you want to do with it.
