    Thanks!

Whatever was done with the server recently has made a huge difference in my FORT productivity! Since June, I have not been able to log in to the FORT home page. I usually had to enter through the archive index (I think that's what it's called), then back track to the current forums. I can now log right in AND can maneuver through screens faster than ever. I know that I didn't do anything on my end, so it must be the FORT. Anyway, Thanks!

We're halfway moved onto a new server, which is helping quite a bit. We need to get all the way moved, but it'll take about 10 hours of downtime all at once, and I haven't been able to find a reasonable window that doesn't require me to stay up all night

*gasp* 10 hours of straight downtime!?!!!?!?!?!?!

John, I think the site's working smashingly as is!

LOL Broadway you just can't stand to be without your FORT fix.
The chat room is always fun - you all need to get it bookmarked before the
    10 hour time of doom

Just out of curiousity, John: does the system keep track of posts for certain hours or days? I'd be interested to know which days get the most action, or which times of day (although I'd assume primetime).
ugh. I don't get time to watch TV anymore, much less hang out at the FORT.

But don't you worry, I'll be back in full force on or about November 3rd.

I'm pretty sure the system keeps track of a lot more things than I would like to think about....

Wenders, here's the last 2 weeks of daily post statistics:

    September 28, 2004 1829
    September 27, 2004 1474
    September 26, 2004 1013
    September 25, 2004 986
    September 24, 2004 1105
    September 23, 2004 1887
    September 22, 2004 1725
    September 21, 2004 2439
    September 20, 2004 1480
    September 19, 2004 1269
    September 18, 2004 1078
    September 17, 2004 2102
    September 16, 2004 2217
    September 15, 2004 1877
    September 14, 2004 2102

It doesn't track by hour, but I could write a query to pull the data out, if I were that curious

And Broadway, it's not that I mind so much being split across 2 servers, but right at the moment, I'm paying for 3 top-end servers, and I'd really like to cut out 2/3 of my pretty hefty monthly bill
