Is the FORT slow or is it my connection?

I have been trying to keep up the with the comings and goings here at the FORT but things have been lagging so bad, I get irritated. Is anyone else having this problem? I have a DSL connection, but it is running like I have dial up---each page takes forever and it hangs on some pages......

Or is this just my crappy ISP? I don't have too much problems anywhere else just here---my fave place to be........and it sucks so bad.

Junkiegirl, I have DSL as well, and no problems that I can tell on my end of it.

Just tonight, or all the time? I don't have a lag problem myself...

Last night and a couple of nights ago, in the wee hours of the night, I had a difficult time logging on. I waited about twenty min. before trying again and it seemed to work. Once I'm in everything works fine. I'm not sure if it's my connection but it probably is, even though I have DSL.

Actually it has been for the last week or so......maybe I will call my ISP tomorrow and raise holy hell!!

Well apparently my provider TBaytel and the FORT are just not compatible.....When I called support, the guy also had probs loading it and also said it was really slow

I find it ok in the wee hours but by then I'm too tired to read. Sucks to be me! LOL

I have been having trouble for the past several weeks (maybe since the system upgrade last month). It takes forever to log in....If I try www.fansofrealitytv.com It takes me up to 15 attempts if I get in at all. I usually just get an index error.

If I try the following, I get right in and then jump over to the current forums.

Wierd.

I have also had a lot of trouble maneuvering through the site. Sometimes nearly a minute of wait time after submitting a post. I never had this problem then suddently there it was. Nothing has changed on my end or with any other site I visit. For the record, I am on a cable modem through a large ISP.

The Fort has been very slow for me (DSL) both last night and this morning. I'm guessing it is the 700+ users, but didn't know if there was something else going on. Besides being just slow, it has been quirky. I'll click "go advanced" and get the "waiting for www....." message and then "Done", but I'll still be on the same page.
